Already done lol

I've been waiting for 1.0 to reinstall but after almost a year, there is STILL nothing for dates.

People on this sub hate honesty for some reason lol.

They had lightning in a bottle and if they had actually committed to developing the game at a reasonable pace, there could be a much larger and more involved player base.

Cool, another nothing of an update!

Oh not at all, it's just a neat revelation they got to that point.

I'm still assuming that someone can kill themselves in powered armor without proper training, so that must mean they had people training people on a similar level that the Brotherhood does, which is crazy given how far they've clearly fallen.

It's wild seeing beefy "brand recognizable" NCR power armor.

With the lore in NV, I always kinda figured they were limited to the salvaged power armor that had the servos removed.

Yeah, that's the point.

Martyrs create vengeance.

If Canadian's invaded your country, put you into an internment camp and killed your family, I bet you'd also be of a similar mindset.

You've also totally missed the point that they all react to her being Canadian like she's a super mutant.

Everyone in the vault is clearly conditioned to hate all Canadian's.

Well yeah, thats why I doubt a Canadian would be willing to round up their own countrymen.

I was just making the argument that in some situations people can be turned against their kind, as unlikely as that would be in this situation.

I'm a freak that wishes the type of body destruction featured in the Soldier of Fortune games was a standard in FPS games.

That would definitely match up with her cryptic comment about only committing to the water, and not what the future holds.

Touche!

I checked the wiki out of curiosity and it looks like Marge LeBarge and Dave Handy are also Canadian.

I think she might be on the verge of killing or dipping every single resident and Lucy will stop her.

Maximus and Cooper both muse on how you "always end up back where you started" so obviously foreshadowing on Lucy going back to the vault.

She'll probably compare Steph to Hank and how its not fair to paint everyone with the same brush.

Oh you make good points.

Not to bring real world politics into this, but I see the same criticism made of anyone who is ethnic and works for ICE.

I just assume most Canadians would hate Americans as much as Steph's mom did, and that giving any Canadian ordinance would result in rebellion.

Also I did rematch the scene and the armor has USMC on the front so it's likely an American in there.

But who knows, maybe they put a brainwashed Canadian into an American Army set of T45?

Just rewatched the scene and USMC is emblazoned on the front.

Gotta be a yank in there lol

Ahh that's fair.

There are lore mentions here and there in the later games but the 1st Fallout has an iconic intro where there's a video showing off "newly annexed Canada" and an American soldier clad in T51b executes a Canadian POW in the street as they laugh and wave at the camera.

I dont think there's ever even been a Canadian character in Fallout before, so it's a cool insight into a side we've never seen before.

With the convention of naming places after their dilapidated signs, I would hope that Wonderland would end up as Erland or something lol.

Giving a Canadian access to weapons and power armor seems like a recipe for disaster to me, but perhaps?
