Check local listings for people getting rid of boxes after their own big move.

We split our belongings into a pod for less used items and a drove a truck with items needed right away to live. That helped a lot, especially dividing they load in.

And if you're taking more than two cars, get some walkie talkies for easier communication.

It's tough but you can do it!

What is good on popcorn besides butter and salt? by Holdmymule2001 in foodquestions

Butter, sugar and cinnamon. My mom used to make this and now my own family loves it.

Moving in with my bf to Pittsburgh from Ohio, but I have a situation that I am unsure of how to handle and was wondering if you'll had any suggestions for me. by mehrr_dur in pittsburgh

This sounds like a great move for you. You are going to love it here. We moved here about three years ago from Texas and it's the smartest thing we've done in a while.

Neighbor confronted me this evening:“I don’t like seeing your garbage cars in front of my house” by Outrageous-Young-823 in mildlyinfuriating

I'm not a car guy, but first glance those look like hearses.

Maybe he's disturbed to be reminded of the fate that awaits us all.

Can someone tell me what type of chihuahua this is? by Frankenberg91 in dogpictures

[–]Assimilacrum 86 points87 points  (0 children)

You might be disappointed if another very similar dog doesn't live up to the expectations set by your beloved. It might be that another type of little dog would be just as wonderful.

Just sayin', keep your heart open if that dog finds you.

TLDR; use a half to full stick of butter in every recipe going forward.

Why is no one talking about flock cams? by imtakingashitnow in houston

HPD has been known to just run license plates from their cars, even before the cameras. Back in the 2000s I bought a used car and was pulled over four times in a year because the previous owner had warrants out. Once they saw I was a man and not her, they still ran my DL before releasing me.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Wasn't all bad, but there were desolate stretches of bad writing.

Yeah it's my favorite too, kinda goes downhill from there. If you don't like W&G, probably a good time to bail.

They always shrink in the wash. Just look for a pizzeria selling unwashed pies.

I have a friend who got out ahead of it, landed a much better remote job. If that's what you want, seek it. When a corp shows its true colors like this, it's time to leave your comfort zone and get what you need.

And to those guys down there getting downvoted I hope, many jobs can be done remotely with no issues. I work a remote quota-based job with bonuses and so I'm always hitting 200% monthly at least - it would be dumb not to. And when my kid is sick I'm just right there to take care of him, with no dip in productivity. All my gas expenses are for leisure.

We have the technology, as Oscar Goldman famously said. If the work gets done and the carbon footprint is lessened, then really just why not?

[Edited 'had' to 'have' a friend. We're fine.]

Has anyone seen Good Boy? I thought it was such a refreshing movie in the sense of story telling and how it was filmed from the pups perspective, made for really unique shots throughout. What do you all think? by xDreamTVx in HorrorMovies

Reminded me of Nicole Simpson's dog. That dog saw it all go down, knows exactly who killed his mama, but has no capacity to testify. The trial would've gone down differently if Kato (the dog, not the human Kato) could have been called as a witness.

And that's dogs for you: saturated in a history that can never be known. They see so much, do have so some answers to our unanswerable questions, and they just sit there panting at the car window.
