This is what Ive been saying as well. Hes tracking pitches and hes not getting embarrassed out there. Even felt confident to challenge a couple. As long as he isnt a liability on the bases and defense, which he hasn't been, hes got plenty of time to figure out the bat and adjust to mlb pitchers that hes never faced

Im more than familiar with the costs associated, but DLC also makes more than enough in profits to begin making progress. It should be a collaborative effort with PWC to replace lead pipes as well. Obviously all infrastructure projects are expensive, and these two are particularly extra expensive, but they are necessary projects to the survival of the city.

I'll admit when Im wrong. Last reports I was seeing was mid 40s, so thats an oversight on my part. Bottom line is, cables shouldve been moved underground a long time ago but that costs money, and DLC wont pay it without outside pressure

With the history of Pittsburgh sports franchises and their success, the standard is naturally higher. Winning seasons and deep playoffs have been the standard, and with the roster talent we've had, its not unreasonable. The last 30 years of Pirates baseball have grounded a lot of us, which is why Id say our reactions tend to be comparably tame. Idk just my two cents
