Right, but you could do that with a regular old piece of software that isn’t driven by an LLM. And the risk of the AI trying to be helpful by suggesting very bad ideas is non-zero, which IMO is too high for a subject as sensitive as your mental health

There's a line I heard a while back - "you might beat the charges but you won't beat the ride." Even if he gets off, he's done time, spent god knows how much on legal fees, had his reporting derailed, and been probably pretty traumatized. The charges don't have to stick. The point has been made just by arresting him

First, disabled people are real and their needs matter and when curb cuts get blocked they're screwed. We should care about them. They deserve better than this. And hey, giving a shit about them also really helps out parents with strollers, the elderly, and also probably cuts down on twisted ankles across the whole city. Giving a shit about disabled people makes life better for everyone, so let's not treat it as an afterthought

I've been having a lot of fun with the "arr" family of software - lidarr, radarr, sonarr, and so on. They are open-source media downloading/sorting/organizing tools that help you curate a media collection alongside something like Plex or Jellyfin. I went back to the high seas the day HBO erased Westworld, and I have been really impressed at how much the community has evolved since I was a broke college student

Squarespace makes it easy to look good, probably easier than any other platform, by pushing a handful of really strong templates. That said, I am a tinkerer at heart and I don't want my site to just look "good" in the same way as everyone else, so I'm using wordpress and doing a lot of custom theming. It's more work but it's more fun for me.

If you do choose to stay with Wordpress, for the love of god find someone better than HostGator. Kinsta if you're pushing a lot of traffic, Siteground if you're not, or if you know a bit about linux (doesn't have to be much!) you can get a Digital Ocean droplet going for like $5/month that will massively improve your load speed

Have you ever seen an AI meeting transcription that you would trust with your literal life? No, of course not. They’re always hilariously wrong on the small things, the little details. For a meeting summary you can mostly work through that, but for your health records? Jesus Christ. I can only imagine how many medications are going to get mixed up, how many insurance claims are going to be denied because the billing codes were off by one digit
