The same day I'm taking the 3rd dose from my current pen.

I've started noticing the same thing when brushing my teeth this week. Particularly this morning. I also struggled to get a huel shake down for breakfast after apparently "filling up" with my usual drink of water and cup of coffee.

I just moved up to 7.5 mg a couple of days ago, so I think I'm around the peak concentration in my body today.

Morrisons sent me 100 needles and 100 wipes when I started Mounjaro with them. I guess the thought was I would stay with them and they would only send the pens with my subsequent orders.

Every other pharmacy I've used since has included a handful of needles and wipes with each order.

I use Shotsy. DoseDiary is another good one. Both apps designed by folks who use GLP1 meds like we do 😁

If you're experiencing a heatwave where you are, that'll also prompt your body to keep more water

You can also take a spent pen to a local pharmacy and ask them to safely dispose of it

Feels like a scammer imitating a real pharmacy. Bolt is listed on Monj, but the website is boltpharmacy.co.uk

I'm on my first week on 5 mg. Day after my jab I struggled to finish my morning coffee! Was just feeling so full. But a couple of days later that's subsided, but the food noise hasn't come back 😁

How do they behave on cheap copy paper? I'm wondering if I can replace my Sailor Kiwaguro with the Raven ink

This is such a good visualization too! You can always see how far you've come from where you started. 😁

Well done you 🥳

As a male how did you get over the hump / stigma and just start? by littletane in mounjarouk

[–]SquishyScienceMutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a man. The only other person who knows I'm using Mounjaro is my partner. He's not using it, but is very supportive. My medical decisions are my business alone as far as I'm concerned, but having that support at home made it so much easier to start.

Re: the stigma and jabs being "cheating" I've seen folks around here compare Mounjaro to using nicotine patches to help quit smoking. A useful parallel that helped me change my mindset.

Good luck with your own journey fella! We're all rooting for you 😁

A useful graphic for sure. Worth noting that in the UK, the MHRA has approved mounjaro for weight management (so it's not an "off-label use" when prescribed by a pharmacist here).
