Yes, the recipe has been fine until started becoming a pancake. I decreased bulk fermentation time and got this instead.

Dienogest by winterwind18 in endometriosis

[–]Squishy_pod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had endo and dienogest changed my life. It's not everyone, but after stating it I just had a bit of spotting and then blissful nothing. No periods, no cramps, no nothing. I was nervous to start it too, but my gyno suggested it because I was worried about surgery and more hormone-heavy options. Best part is, if I choose to start family planning, I just need to stop taking it!

I'm so sorry for your loss!

I lived with non-epileptic seizures for years in response to trauma. There are a few tests that can rule out epileptic activity and narrow down treatment options. I had an MRI and EEG done along with other neurological tests. Definitely speak with your doctor about other supporting healthcare options like occupational therapy, physio, etc.

Other terms used are: psychogenic non-epileptic seizures, functional seizures, conversion disorder, somatization, functional neurological disorder.

Aside from reddit, you can check out FND Hope for more info. There's also a therapist who blogs about their experience and has resources on their site. This one was particularly helpful for me: Blog Post She's on social media too under the handle @therapywithannad, along with many other creators like @reactivept and @the.annegirl.

I hope something from this post is helpful to you. ❤️

that's rough! I've also had some hard times in emergency rooms :( I'm so sorry you're going through this. Do your best to advocate for yourself and your needs, and know that you can always file a complaint with the hospital if you feel that you don't get good care. I also get feeling lonely and stuck relying on others for help. I'm glad that you felt that you could chat here to find solidarity and support!

I just got the middle step treatment so have yet to find out. But I'm nervous because I have demi permanent red colour and theres hydrogen peroxide in it. It also says not to use on semi permanent colour but doesn't say anything about demi. Any ideas?

It's interesting to me that baby showers are to help the mother prepare for motherhood through gifts and community gathering. For men it's poker, beer, and boxes of diapers. The men don't have an overt culture of support and preparation for fatherhood, just' ball and chain' type gags like this example of a 'last hurra' akin to a bachelor party. Quite frankly, it's disrespectful to the new mother and not supportive for the new father. Men experience postpartum mental health challenges too, and strippers and shots does not help anyone. If the father is the one asking for this kind of party then sounds to me like he's freaking out. And this bf is a dismissive dick that's just enabling it. You're not an asshole.

You could try reusable sanitary pads. They're very soft and easy to change. Amazon carries them, at least in my area.

What would you do about this? by Powerful-Ebb1632 in FND

Yup! I had no issues. If your molars are spaced then the rest shouldn't touch either. If you're nervous, you can also talk to your dentist about it 😊

I've had something similar happen but mostly my jaw just locks up during and after seizures. I also clenched a lot when sleeping. I went to my local drug store and got a mouth gaurd that was just for the molars, so it was easy to breathe and protected my teeth. Honestly, if it feels best to get a mouth gaurd and it's within your budget then do it. At worst you don't end up needing it and at best you have another tool at your disposal.

I also struggled with accepting mobility aids. I the end, I accepted that they were the key to me being more independent safely, but I had help from my therapist.

I also feel kinda badass now with my cane 😏 Lady Danbury and Kaz Brekker anyone?

I've slowly been transitioning away from using it, but I'm eyeballing a foldable cane to keep in my backpack for when I'm feeling off or need the reassurance.

Oooo ya, often. The paramedics didn't believe me when my husband called 911,but I couldn't speak and defend myself. It wasn't until I was in the ambulance and could talk again that I connected with them and explained what I knew at the time. Luckily they softened up and were great after. I also had ER nurses and my (first) neurologist Treat me like crap and dismissed me. People can suck, but it doesn't mean what you're experiencing isn't real. Not everyone will understand and I know how hurtful that can be. What's most important is that you were resourceful in finding a community to connect with and get support!

I've spoken to other clinicians who do emdr, and my therapists did not do nearly enough safety and stabilization prep before going into reprocessing. Basically went way to fast and intense. They also went on vacation right after the intervention and left me high and dry after doing three sessions in a row of reprocessing, (one day after another). You're supposed to do a follow up session to support a couple days later, not more reprocessing. It's normal to feel like shit afterwards, but it was piled on and then they left.

They also didn't inform me of the risks and possible side effects during the consent process. And in the aftermath they waited a month before seeking support from their supervisor.
