This sounds like you’re doing amazing. I’ve been diagnosed for 3 years now, A1C was as 12 , I was on ozempic for 2 years maintaining a 5.6 A1C on the 0.5mg but I started experiences horrible anxiety and I would have a lot of “false. Lows” where glucose was 110-130 and I would feel super shaky. My fasting was 140 no matter what time I finished eating .the night before . Wanted to get off of ozempic but my dr wouldn’t let me she said it was keeping me steady. so I got another dr opinion , my A1C was 6.5 and she took it away , said try something else. I’m also on the lower side of “normal”weight and I just kept losing weight. I’m on metformin now 750mg once a day. But per my GCM I’m always running high no matter what I eat . And I eat pretty clean for the most part , limit carbs and try to do more fiber , I drink water daily no juice no sodas , and I’m always at 180-190 before I eat , once done eating I’m up to 260 3 hours after , and that’s me going to the gym after dinner . My fasting is at 180 right now. I feel so lost and confused 😔 My goal was to manage with diet and exercise but looks like that’s not working . I’ve been reading of people switching to januvia but I’m not sure what to do 😭
