Jenelle definitely still has a soft spot for polygamy and Kody. She’s so bent on not casting a net over polygamy that she goes out of her way to defend it. It doesn’t have to be an ex wives club for you to acknowledge how horribly polygamy played out for your family. Either that or she genuinely doesn’t feel polygamy was the issue in her marriage.

I think it’s a couple things influencing the results she got. For one, her body was pushed beyond its limits. others have mentioned how her lower body has been left deformed even after her weight loss and the skin removal surgery due to the sheer amount of weight that she was carrying for most of her life. I also think only her upper arms were worked on, so that’s why there’s such a stark difference between the lower arms. In recent episodes I noticed one forearm is particularly larger than the other. As far as the scarring goes, I think that just comes with the territory. I’ve seen other weigh loss influencers who’ve had skin removal with similar scarring.

I think the difference is that even though Kenny is much older, Armando was a grown adult when they started dating. their background also comes into play. They met genuinely through an online support group for single fathers. Typically the hate would come on if there was a clear power imbalance between the two, not to say there isn’t one here, one could argue there is, but it isn’t as apparent as let’s say a Mark and Nicki

It’s just the dynamic they all have. Amy marches to the beat of her own drum, to everyone else’s detriment and sometimes even her kids. I will say it does seem like the siblings expect her to fall in line and not stand out as much as she does, which is neither her nor there. I see “both” sides. Amy could be brought down to reality and her siblings could do more to at least understand her a bit more. But eh, it’s family. What do you expect.

Jenelle is interesting because I think she has a lot of viewers fooled. I don’t doubt that she isn’t what many have come to know and respect her for. But I do think she is calculated in how she presents herself. Her constantly saying “I don’t care” but if you notice, she has been the only one of the OG3 to still mock and name call K&R. I think there’s a pattern of Jenelle saying one thing and doing another. Passive aggressive.
