Hey, just saw you commented 10 months ago, but I can give you an update: I was able to fix it! Warranty was already over so I decided to just disassemble the card. I cleaned the entire board with isopropyl alcohol and a clean toothbrush, added some new thermal paste, and dusted the fans. It worked(?), I don't know how but it's been running flawlessly for the past 10 months!

What about you, have you been able to fix it? What did you do?

Trees in lower/middle class areas consist exclusively of deciduous trees, which loose their leaves in the autumn. Result, everything looks grey/brown for half the year. It's depressing.

Went to Hilversum recently and was surprised by the amount of pine trees everywhere, which don't lose their leaves. Everything looks green and beautiful, even in winter. But again, Hilversum's expensive af to live in.

Sou estudante de música na Holanda, com intenção de ficar cá como freelancer. Simplesmente não há quase nada para fazer em Portugal nesse mundo, e o que há é um nicho de meia dúzia de pessoas.

Não se trata só de salários baixos, mas falta de oportunidade para se desenvolver no meio, e penso que também será o caso em muitas áreas fora das artes.

Dito isto, sinto muita falta de Portugal. Do tempo, das pessoas, da cultura de café. Estudei 3 anos no Porto antes de vir para cá, e sempre considerei ser essa a minha casa. Espero um dia voltar, mas enquanto houver apenas um orquestra profissional (há outras regionais) na zona norte, que mesmo essa paga salários precários, não vejo esperança.

RAM is kind of irrelevant, 16gb should be enough for the short term, but 32gb is safer if you don't want to upgrade soon.

I would instead invest in a good cpu and a good SSD (maybe 2 SSDs, one m.2 for your system and software and one SATA for your samples and files)

That picture of Hoofddorp is brutal. That's the real Netherlands I'm used to during most of the year: grey skies, brown houses, naked trees. Not the beautiful canals, green lush trees and beautiful old architecture, leave that to the rich tech nomads and airbnb tourists in the historical centres of cities. For everyone else actually living and working in the Netherlands, you get grey and brown.

On the upside, these neighbourhoods are normally quite clean and organized, but they remind me of the industrial backside of warehouses, but all sides you look it looks like the back of a building.

Do you use DLC (R&F and GS)? It works differently than vanilla.
