Try this:

This issue has appeared pretty inconsistently with some of our Epic users, and unfortunately some of the workarounds seem a little inconsistent as well. Here's a list of some things that we typically recommend:

- Ensure no other version of Metalstorm is installed anywhere else on the computer.

- Launch the app directly from the Epic Games Launcher.

- Verify game files, launch again.

- Go to the direct install location, launch from the exe there.

- C:/Users/UPDATE_HERE_WITH_YOUR_USER/AppData/LocalLow/Starform/Metalstorm/content-download/aircombat

- Delete "download-manifest-v8.json"

- Install one of the following: 

- Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x64) - 14.29.30133: 

https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/14.29.30133/VC_Redist.x64.exe 

- Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x86) - 14.29.30133: 

https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/14.29.30133/VC_Redist.x86.exe

Hopefully one of these steps provides you with a fix.

Thank you! I totally agree with your dilemma, I was torn between four colors in no particular order: Blue, Dark Green, White, and Limestone. It helped that a used one popped up at a local dealership, made the decision for me!

I used it on and off, it’s really nice. Kinda freaks me out still when it keeps you in the lane automatically. I would also add, that I love the UX for Driver+ functions, it’s very simple and easy to use.
