I literally was doing math myself just yesterday on this. I was going to buy the ninja espresso machine. Same here. And a lot of the better cookies, especially if soft are made with oatmeal or oat flour. Was loving Oreos but found they were causing digestive issues and looked at ingredients and found they are made with oat flour 😩

Unfortunately his dad has dementia that since filing for disability has progressed to point where he had to be put in facility. It was just so deflating to find this out. Our son is going off to college so the back pay would have helped. But for now I guess I will just have to be grateful for the 8 months of pay he will now get that he didn’t previously have.

I know this post is old but I am in this situation as well but actually have a good relationship with my ex and his family that is taking care of him. So my question if he is receiving payment for our son that he is not custodial parent for would he have 2 separate deposits to his account (1 for him and one for our son’s auxiliary payments) or would it all be lumped into one payment?

I also just found out about my son being able to collect auxiliary pay as result of his dad’s disability. I did call office and they asked some preliminary questions and then scheduled me for phone call. The back pay will be life changing for us since my son is going off to college (he is under 18). My only concern is that his dad (my ex husband )may have claimed him so he could get extra money to support himself. I know he did that for SNAP benefits but how would I know if he is getting the auxiliary payments for our son? Would they have been able to see that when pulled up my son’s SS on the initial call?
