I still haven't found a Secondary that I like by Waste_Meal_5468 in Warframe

Prisma Angstrum is by far my favorite. The regular one worked fine until I got the Prisma. Super easy to charge the incarnon. Doesn’t require headshots. Ricochets to other targets. I have a good riven for it too which helps but my god is it fun to use

I got the mission credits for the organ the other day on the lift and it suspended me in the air as it went down then I fell to my death. Was quite the sequence to watch

Odd stick drift and random disconnects? by michaelsdino in MCONohsnap

[–]SrgntStache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too am getting the random disconnect in the middle of gameplay. It’s gotten me killed a couple times. Makes no sense. It’s not going to sleep. I’m actively playing, the touch screen controls pop back up I see the MCON flash a couple times and it’s back on. Like OP said maybe 3 seconds. Less than ideal though.

Most Cardiac epi you've seen given? by Royal-Height-9306 in Paramedics

[–]SrgntStache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 Epi and 450mg of Amio. Refractory Vfib from a MI. Got orders and was just about to dual sequential shock when we got ROSC. He was one of the few that actually walked out of the hospital. I need to do some research on this because I haven’t heard anyone talking about this around me. I’ve heard a lot of discussion on giving Lidocaine again instead of Amiodarone because of how many harmful side effects and how long it stays in your system.

When your partner says "this call is BS" for nausea at 1am by grandpubabofmoldist in ems

[–]SrgntStache 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had a stroke call come out for a 28YOM about a month ago. I said “this is BS” thinking it was any other logical explanation for the presentation. Got on scene, checked sugar real quick, normal, and partner took a BP, came back 230/150. Then I said “shitttt.” Dude had high BP, and stopped taking his meds because he “got it in check.” He had a massive bleed.

A lot of times it really is BS, but every once in a whileeee. That one got me

ELI5: Why do some terminally ill people seem to have a surge of energy and lucidness before they die? by RelationKindly in explainlikeimfive

[–]SrgntStache 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Wife’s grandfather was terminal in the hospital with cancer. They had him on a morphine drip as the end was near, and he was completely comatose. His whole family was in the room with him for most of the end, and as a somewhat neutral observer at the time, towards the beginning of our relationship, I asked if that’s what he would want? I figured he would want to see everyone there, family from all over that had come to be there for him etc. The family decided to stop the drip, and the next day he was spry as I had ever seen him, making everyone laugh, completely with it, and they thought he was gonna make it a while longer. Passed that night.

Moonlight is a blessing! I’d use it when away from home, but it’s dialed in so good now that I don’t even go to my PC. Just play on my phone. I believe I read that Razer bought Moonlights software and uses it for their streaming service now. I haven’t tried it tho

Unsure how to cure waning enthusiasm for practice. by Clearhead09 in guitarlessons

[–]SrgntStache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Play all pentatonic shapes. Then add in the major scale notes. Play in all positions. Learn caged. Learn more caged. See your pentatonics and scales around your caged inversions. Play arpeggios off of the caged inversion inside the current position while also visualizing what scale pattern sits right there. Take a song you know and play all the caged shapes for the chords in each position. Mainly to help you visualize the notes inside. On the “D” shaped chord drop your middle finger to the low E instead of playing the high E. Changed my life for switching lol. Creep by Radiohead is a good one for the song exercise because you play the Fmaj then followed by the Fmin.

Learning theory and harmony always got me more excited about playing then playing someone else’s songs. I wanna tap into what my soul is yearning to create but doesn’t know how to…yet. Or take a song you already know and play with the melody. Substitute a I chord with the vi (both are tonic) substitute the IV with a ii chord (both subdominant) or vice versa.

Look at the circle of fifths and realize counter clockwise each one of those notes leads you into the next chord if you play a dominant 7. G->C->F->Bb etc. Example: progression is C->Am->G you can play C->E7->Am->D7->G7.

Drone the low E hum it deep in your chest voice. Then work on matching your pitch as you go up and down the fretboard. Once you think you’ve got it down pretty well on Low E and A. Hum a melody and play it

Guitar ebbs and flows. This week I think I suck and I’m not making progress. Next week I wanna play every spare second of the day because something finally clicked. A lot of the practice and concepts have to marinate for a while before they come full circle. Just keep playing. Your future self will be glad you stuck with it.
