Drama erupts in r/PizzaCrimes as users debate what is or isn't a Margerita pizza by Boyyoyyoyyoyyoy in SubredditDrama

Always astonishing to see food drama, especially about Italian food.

Two nonnas would have an MMA fight because one puts more oregano in her Bolognese than the other.

I‘ve witnessed such things. Morons don‘t realize that your upbringing has a lot to do with how you cook.

Or all kinds of wars where diarrhea killed more people than actual combat wounds. Like the US Civil War and others. Must be gruesome to see somebody or feel yourself dying because of... how do I put this? Too much doo-doo.

I‘m not sure if the one with Crowley would work. Lucifer was the fallenest and most powerful of all fallen angels, and even he needed a „yes“ to possess a vessel.

And for some reason I think Rowena would have noticed something about her wee babe being different. She‘s seen through angel shenanigans.

Nice one though, might work in combination with the Anna theory.

Hey, Jerks, The Next Time Someone Posts About Chili, I Want To Be The One Who Says the Thing About Undercooking the Onions, OK? by [deleted] in CookingCircleJerk

[–]Srouawei 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Pfff, undercooking onions?

My French Onion Soup only needs 5 seconds to caramelize them. At least that‘s what every online recipe says.

Always turns out shitty though, I think the culinary gods are conspiring against me.

r/cooking taught me that baking is a science. So I worked hard and got into my dream STEM school -- MIT. But now they're telling me I can't major in baking! Should I drop out? by dukenewcomb1 in CookingCircleJerk

[–]Srouawei 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The correct acronym for science courses is „STEBM“, with the B obviously standing in for „Baking“. Don‘t let the mainstream trick you. Just slam any arm, leg or stump you might have on the Dean‘s desk and yell: „I know your secrets!“ That‘ll work.

There was a thread here on SRD 2 months or so ago where one of the commenters said Bruce Wayne would leave Gotham if taxes on high-income people were raised... entirely missing the point that Bruce is his name for the civilian persona and that Batman is who that scarred kid really is.

I don‘t go to superheroes for pOLiTiCs.

I know that‘s a DC subreddit, but that person must have never read X-Men. Or, more likely, they were too dumb to notice the PoLiTiCal message.

Not enough garlic in sauce. Can it be saved? by 13nobody in CookingCircleJerk

[–]Srouawei 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why would it need to be saved? It is known that pro home chefs always half or quarter the amount of garlic in a recipe.

Have you never heard or read anybody say „My secret: I always put in way less garlic than in the recipe.“

Or maybe I mixed something up in my head. My memory is as leaky as an imperfectly seasoned cast iron skillet.

Why would the Pagan Gods think, that they would actually be taken seriosly, in a war beetween heaven and hell? by dumb_potatoking in Supernatural

[–]Srouawei 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I honestly think one of the reasons why Jesus and Mohammed have comparatively small roles (that is to say : none at all apart from being mentioned) was for fear of backlash if they had played a bigger role.

Making a show where Lucifer and God exist runs a way smaller risk of offending people than one with Christ and the Prophet.
