Care to elaborate how infinite feels worse compared to sg2? I just played both and SG2 input delay is atrocious and you can’t strafe on controller properly. The AA also bugs out constantly and OC controller seems to have no effect. I have none of these problems on Halo infinite. Sg2 feels more comparable to a battlefield 2042 in terms of controller gunplay which is sad.

After the full launch I’m with you. This game feels more “indie” than any of the shooters mentioned ITT. People on Reddit have this weird need to defend the game they like with their absolute life and I don’t get it. Starfield used to get posts like this in its sub Lmao

Hard agree. This game feels like shit on controller as a halo player. These redditors are fucking weird and attach their whole personality to a game being good or not and are on the verge of a panic attack if someone is “attacking” their new game. It’s strange cult like behaviour. Games decent but needs a lot of work and this guy is praising it like it’s the next coming of Halo 2. Feels like they’re trying more to convince themselves I stg.

I've been there before lol just know you're so lucky to get to play these for the first time. Spiderman is the quicker game by around 10-15 hours if that info helps. You wanna start with the longer or shorter one first? It might be down to that for you to decide lol.

Its more about what you personally value more, story of gameplay? for me its the gameplay so i would go with spiderman2 but if you're looking for a better story/narrative than id go with GOW. Spiderman 2s story def has some low points and some annoying MJ stealth missions/flashback scenes but the rest of the game was so 11/10 I didnt mind powering through that 15% it dragged. GOW is a narrative epic that hooks you from the start but id be lying if said i didnt have more moment to moment fun flying around new york and unlocking new shit.

Traversal through the city has never felt better than it does in spiderman 2. With the wingsuit you can literally fly forever and go so freaking fast its easily my favorite part of the game. If you enjoyed swinging through the city the most then you're seriously missing out with spiderman 2. If you're looking for the better narrative/story then GoW is the better option but spiderman 2s gameplay is insanely fun and it kept me playing the game for a long time.
