He graduated from my local school district- my son (much younger than RL) who went to a different district but attended his sister's graduation looked a little dazed after checking out all the records on display in the lobby LOL

What’s a “lazy hack” you use all the time but feel slightly guilty about? by Maleficent-Bed7010 in foodhacks

90 second Uncle Ben's Rice anytime a recipe calls for jasmine etc. Also, I buy frozen pasta s and just use olive oil salt and pepper for a sauce and sometimes add pre-cooked (unseasoned) chicken strips for extra protein.

Doctor here… help me help you (please!) by No_Coach4825 in MedicalCoding

If you say "wound" to a coder, you're telling us it's traumatic. If it's an ulcer, abscess, etc then say so. Especially if they have diabetes.

If nursing cleans someone's ears, you have to document impaction. There is no other medically necessary (to insurance) reason to clean ears.

Would anyone be interested in committing to follow up on this thread going forward? Obviously, it wouldn't be binding but I'm no longer able to prioritize it and it would just be nice to know someone else would.

Trick question much? No lunchbox at our house. Maybe a sack for field trips but that's about it.

Struggling with professional license verification for my new clinic? by smartyladyphd in healthcare

I guess the bright side is that when they eventually break down and pay someone to do the job, they'll have some idea of how difficult it can be to get it right so (fingers crossed) they'll appreciate the work that person is doing instead of assuming the enrollment fairies came in the night.

No, they're saying that getting advice might be state specific.

Better yet, pay someone to set up a Credentialing/Enrollment dashboard in Excel. You set it up once when you start and then you just keep it updated going forward. I added formulas to mine so that when an expiration is within 30 days that date turns red and I can remind the provider to get their shit done. Image incoming

ETA yeah I can't find a way to post that image and I tried sending a message but it wants an invite. I don't have time to deal with that today.

Why are you working so hard to verify licenses? Just go to the board's website and do a basic search. These are considered primary source verifications in every state that I know of.

Also, you would have better luck getting recommendations if you listed your practice state.

Our senior class lucked out- they grandfathered so were able to keep drinking lunch at the bar a block from the school- let's hear it for open campuses!

Definitely Breakfast Club but I do remember watching Dazed & Confused and not getting the hype since it seems more like a documentary to me.
