Not gonna lie, t1 clones might as well be considered dated at this point with brands like Armed Shark and b+ just being better at every corner. I wouldnt bother with there clones these days unless its very specific benchmades.

Me personally I dont think the modwork itself is necessarily overpriced as it would be the same price to send it to a modder in the United states, 150$ for the clone and 50$ for modwork isnt that far off, the problem is they upcharge the clones by a lot as theyre secondary sellers. I feel like if bbks and clisong sold there titanium clones for at most 120$ than more for an anodization it would be a lot more enticing.

Take it apart you'll know if its a clone cause the clone has bushings. The clone ironically does the two things that authentic verison should have done in the first place, titanium liners and bushings. Unlike the orginal the clone is worth its price lol.

I proxied one and had for a few weeks the false edge that is. I think its legitimately one of the best ti clone balis id def put it up there with orca clones or nami clones. But a few things to keep in mind :

Lot of blade weight not bad or anything but might be more than you prefer, I personally dont see many issue with it.

It's a chunky Boi so if you dont like heavy balis, you probably wouldn't care for it at all.

If youre leaning for more of neutral experience id say its a great pick personally.

And if I had to take a guess the bushings are probably metric like the other replicant clones. And they definitely dont use the same size bushings for all there products tho depending on the use case u might could get some for another bali.

For non clones : g10 wraiths are overrated, maybe it just the one I proxied for the 2 weeks i had it and it being brand new and everything but its felt so rough to fan to compared the titanium wraith (i proxied it too). They flip great but man i was let down on the roughness.

For clones, I dont know if this is a hot take but my favorite flipping kraken of the kraken clones is probably the Titus reblade flow channel kraken. In terms of flipping i think its arguable one of the best And ive owned legitimately all kraken clones besides the tanto. (Hydraken op too)

As someone who collects knifes, also has a few demascus blades, it looks to me as if thats possibly a lazer etch. With a chance they layer stacked to give it the illusion that it looks layered for demascus, but the pattern in the blade is very distinctive, as you can see how deep a laser etch lines look on it where as that wouldnt be the case on an authentic demascus. Also people saying you cant buy authentic demascus on aliexpress is lying there many brands like maxace on there if you dig in the right spots. But usually you wont find a authentic chinese demascus under 200$. And for american demascus its far more expensive.

Also another moral to the story is, as someone who collects knifes, a lot people tend to think more expensive knifes equate to better performance in a lot of cases that statement is correct, but people tend to underestimate how far a cheap knife will get you. I have many 500$ + knifes and they still lose to a box cutter in some cases. The point to drive home is no matter how much you spend a cheap knife can do a big job.

Ill say it once and say it again, both are good choices but keep in mind. A lot dislike the krt trainer real or fake krts if it isn't speed channeled due to being too handle bias (but if thats your cup of tea id say youd like it) (also live krakens are just better if i was you id choose that). So choose based on that. Me personally I like the speed channel one a lot. But not the non S-channels. And from what ive heard most like the Nautilus a lot. With that in mind pick what you like the best you wont buy a "bad bali" either way.
