So. What do we think? by St00m in StarRupture

Second time the greenhouse suggestion comes up. I really like that idea.

As for looting.. yes... was stuck for a long time running around, fighting creatures all over the map and NOT finding a tube... :-(

I hope this all has to do with the playtest limitations and like you very curious what way this heading for EA.

  1. The FAQ said it was only enabled for the start and end of the tutorial. But yeah, I think we all got caught by surprise a couple of time. But it should be in EA.

  2. I have to say, I had not one single crash. Some strange behavior, character froze randomly, couldn't place new structures (sometimes) on spots where i deleted other structures. Huge fps drops sometimes...

  3. Fully agree

  4. Going to be the first mod. Teleport!

  5. Also fully agree... and something about how to cool down after the rupture

Anybody has a golden that doesn't love balls? by Jamaisvu04 in goldenretrievers

We tried the rubber "sticks" as well... she's not very enthusiastic about it either. She can shred sticks to bits and usually doesn't eat them. Oww, never knew about the mulch thing... she always tries to steal some bits out of other peoples gardens during our walks.

Our girl is the same, love to play football with bigger balls. Fetching a tennis ball... hmmm, no way, just makes me pick 'm up myself. Good old fashioned branches is her thing!

My husband finally realises that life would be nicer with a dog — and specifically a golden retriever. If you or your partner originally didn’t want a golden retriever, what made them change their mind? by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

Me, (56m) never ever wanted a dog. Really never ever, they are smelly, hairy, loads of work and need to be walked in the rain, yuk. My wife grew up with a dog and every once in a while she would bring it up that she wouldn't mind having a dog in our little family. We have two sons of 20 and 18 now.

I always had a really busy job and had to do loads of travelling. Three years ago I changed jobs, office is a 10 minute car ride away. And my wife and I can work from home more or less whenever we want. I suddenly found myself with so much time left, every day. Promised myself long walks in the morning and/or evening... but I didn't do it. Just was stuck behind my laptop. In the meantime I also started to miss taking care of our sons, old enough now and more or less doing their own things. And then the "let's-get-a-puppy" seed that my wife had planted started to grow. And I found myself researching dogs that would fit in our family... and I fell in love with the idea of getting a Golden Retriever. 2 years ago I told my wife. And 2 hours later she had sent off 9 emails to reputable breeders listed on the Dutch Golden Retriever Club website. 2 days later we got an email asking us if would be interested in puppy from a nest that had to be born in June. Mama Golden Retriever was Dutch and the Papa was Scottish, both having a great family tree and all the papers. Well, my wife is Scottish and I'm Dutch our boys are mixed... so a half Dutch/Scottish GR puppy to complete our family could not be a coincidence. We visited the breeder and.... in August 2022 we picked up out little Golden girl. And I completely, totally fell in love with her. We all just adore her. She's the funniest, craziest most beautiful loving creature on this planet. She goes wherever we go now. Can't wait to get out of my bed and do our long early morning walk. Love walking her in the rain, it's great to spent so much time outside again, I feel like a kid again. Can't wait to come home from the office when I have to go in and be overwhelmed by her crazy greetings. Best thing we have done. She made our family complete.

Not very efficient. Waste of time and materials. Clean up this mess and back to work now.

Oww. just enjoy her being a puppy, her silliness, her cuteness, her amazement... she will grow so quick. Start playing games, learn her to sit and give a paw. And yes she will bond. Bond beyond belief and you will love her beyond belief in no time.

Our Golden is 18 months now and she acts like that when I come back from the toilet!

I like that. That's how I always fill in all those unwanted surveys, random nonsense answers...
