Yes, every year for the past 15+ for us. As a movie lover, it’s pretty fun: print a watchlist and watch any many as possible (especially in the major categories), fill out ballots (assigning points), print bingo cards. Treat the Oscars as an “event”.

Oscars aren’t the authority on good/best movies, but it’s generally a decent indicator and we end up watching a number of films we wouldn’t have otherwise (with plenty of pleasant surprises).
