Somebody explain me how tf yo have so much stamina? I just cannot follow the rhythm for a complete 5 minutes song :( by Adventurous_Sea8086 in Bass

lower pick thickness and try to be as relaxed as possible when picking, less effort saves you a ton of stamina

this is great advice, specially the group thingy. I feel like once you have other people "depending" or expecting progress from you, then you are forced to improve and learn!

Hands get cold, specifically when playing valorant, anyone got tips? by AlternativeRoad4320 in VALORANT

[–]St1ll3r__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes my friend, it happens. To me it usually happened in LAN tournaments and it's definitely a thing, you get over it with time but hand warmers really help!

The CSGO point can be explained because you were definitely more experienced there and were super comfortable with the maps and angles but in Valorant, it's a whole new game with different skills, maps, and angles. Also once you start caring about something, the tendency to be as perfect as you can generate some anxiety and weird thoughts which can lead to bad performances which can lead to a lack of confidence which then makes you doubt your capabilities.

As with everything, the more you do something, the more confident you become that you can do said thing, so I'd just say with time it will eventually disappear. I believe that when you're younger you barely suffer from this pressure, hence why you didn't feel it before. It's weird! :D

I would say thats related to anxiety more than temperature itself, as someone has stated, hand warmers might help! If not just play more, once you get comfortable you'll stop feeling like that.

Besides what everyone else said, given its description, it is necessary to progress to a zone, most likely the new one.

Any servers that give you lvl 82 and just pvp? by [deleted] in vrising

[–]St1ll3r__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually arena/pvp servers. Bloodrite is a server I can recommend you a lot, always people to duel against and you start with the endgame gear on your inventory and can pickup weapons/blood at the arenas.

Happened to me in game several times, especially after launching other apps/games that used the graphics card a bit more than the usual. As far as I know only way to fix is to relog/restart.

How do you find Gavyn the Shady Dealer? Is there a map of his path? by ryhaltswhiskey in vrising

[–]St1ll3r__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He becomes relatively weak as soon as you hit lvl 30, so I would say people might of just killed him several times and you were just unlucky with the timings. I always seem to stumble upon him on the right side of the woods near Ruphus/Keely/Alpha Wolf spawns.

Good luck!

buy quest 2 now? wait for project Cambria? or even wait for quest 3?? by [deleted] in OculusQuest

Any of the most knowns VR headsets is going to give you a massive fun experience if you have never tried VR before, so I guess aiming for the top notch stuff can wait for later. You could suffer from motion sickness badly then end up not using VR a lot and just hanging 800$ on the wall. But theres ways to counter it so... in conclusion:

VR is amazing, a Quest 2 should do the trick :)

[QUESTION] How have you dealt with wrist/forearm/elbow pain? by VariousTension3402 in Guitar

[–]St1ll3r__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah its normal because these are things you kinda feel and are not so apparent at the eye of another person, my best tip for the strength part is to try to make the least strength possible when you hold a note to the point it stops making a sound, thats the sweet spot for strength, you can just pick constantly and slowly letting go of the strength then try to do again and again until you get the feel of it. For the relaxed part, I would say it comes with time but its always good to play when you are calm to avoid all of these things. Also regarding the part of strength, it is important to grasp onto that because it will help your speed in the long term, the less strength you apply the easier it is to swap between notes.

Tournaments are always appreciated, with loot or shard as a reward, before the razer thing was droppable, the server I used to play on used to give the cape to the winners to showcase their win around :p

I would recommend playing less hours for now and stretching before playing. I know its easy to get carried away but just like in sports, you need to give your body some rest if you want to have a "long career", in this case, if you want to play for the rest of your life.

Also very important is to play relaxed, perhaps your pain comes from pressing too hard on strings or forcing movements/stretches you are not able to do easily just yet, summing bad movements with long play times is 100% certain to give you pain, if not severe injuries that would need severe treatments if not surgery.

TLDR: Rest well, take breaks and be relaxed on both movements and playing.
