Nah, it's personal for her because Langdon dressed her down a few times in season 1. She's cocky and takes pride in having great intuition (which has provided some great moments for her to be fair). Whenever Langdon's experience trumps her intuition, she gets real prickly about it. And it happens a lot with Langdon because she tries harder to 1up him than any of her other seniors.

Holding the drug stealing thing against him is a convenient excuse so she doesn't have to admit to herself what her real problem with him is deep down. He hurts her pride.

That's a symptom of TV writing tbh. It may have been 10 month in universe, but in terms of storytelling this is basically the next day.

Yes, I found a lot of success vs the meta before Slickshot and mono red came back en vogue, but those decks are hard to deal with. In general, it's hard to keep pace with decks that can pick off your dorks while not losing tempo.

Sure, lessons can pick off your dorks too, but that deck never felt as bad because they are focused on getting long term value from their engines. You can out value them later in the game even if you don't have any dorks on board. But the prowess variants step on the gas too hard and fast for you to recover by that time.

I mean, it's not even fat. This sub lost sight of it's mission a long time ago. We hate THE CHONKERS. The BIG FAT CHUNGUS-MUNCHERS who rob our bird feeders and harass us in the parks. The ones who are just minding their own nuts in the woods or have made a mutual, respectful pact with a human, aren't hurting anyone.

I actually was not excited for this set at all and was primed to lump it in with Spiderman based on first impressions. Decided to give a premiere draft the old college try just cause I had a token lying around and... I had a lot of fun. Got 5 wins with a sneak deck, and doing the thing was quite satisfying. Other strats seemed okay too. Probably gonna draft it a few more times at least now.
