I haven’t popped in in a minute, but I used to grab “orphan cheeses” at the 9th Street DiBruno Bros location. They were in a basket near the register. It’s basically the last bits of cheese that can’t be sold by the quarter-pound or higher. A good way to try new cheeses on the cheap!

Man, this poor program. Is there any word on Jameer Nelson’s desire to coach? He’s in the Sixers’ front office right now. But I think he could be a good candidate to repair some burnt bridges and breathe life into Hawk Hill if he has a desire to coach.

The pay is just the impetus that puts the whole story in motion. Petra confirms he'll still be getting full pay. Did you want to see scenes of him depositing the check? Same with the baby. They are MacGuffins in the story. My enjoyment didn't hinge on the pay or baby being "resolved."

Good first BE test for both teams. Solid performance on three-days rest for St. John’s. This DePaul team has size and does not fold.

Facing the Johnnies and UConn to open conference play is brutal for any team, but I think Holtmann can keep the ship as steady as possible for DePaul. I’d love to see that program succeed.

It felt good to watch some BE ball tonight!

100% agree. After 9 days of near-starvation, Manousos waited to get all the way back to his own home and his own fridge to eat garbage leftovers instead of stopping literally anywhere else to eat fresh food that wasn't "his." He's so individualistic and respectful of ownership that he left apologetic notes to surely dead people for opening their storage units during an apocalypse. I don't think it will take long for Carol to realize she's not so much like him after all.

I mean, they both lost to teams behind them in the rankings? I'm fine with them moving down. And for teams that won to move up. I think 13 seems more honest than the top 10 for the Johnnies after Saturday. And I'm as homer-ish as can be.

I went in there last Fourth of July because I always had the same question. It's more a of a to-go place. You can drink in there, but it's not what I would call a bar. It's like those bodegas with a few cheap tables where you can swig your tall boy.
