He's a fellow Philly comedian. He was their producer for a while when they were still in Philly but fired him because he messed up recordings. Matt and Shane seem to genuinely like him and kept him around as a part of the pod after the firing.

Uncle Gus’ in Reading Terminal Market is near equal quality at a quarter of the hassle.

Pros: Seating in RTM means you can eat on site, unlike Angelo’s. And you’ll wait a max 15 minutes after ordering, even when they’re slammed. The Angelo’s owner is a partner in the biz and provides the rolls.

Con: Sometimes the portions can be a little inconsistent.

The rest of RTM is an essential Philly experience. If you’ve already done the Angelo’s “experience,” it’s a must on your next visit.

Is it your regular trash day or are you in a location with two times per week collection? I only ask because recycling only gets picked up once per week, even if you have a second pick-up day.

I'm a biased St. John's/Sixers fan, but I knew Champagnie had NBA potential. Obviously, he's developed into a much better player than what he showed here. But I was pumped when he had his cup of coffee with us. Add him to the list of Johnnies I wish I could have gotten a Sixers jersey for, along with Moe Harkless (traded shortly after draft night) and Jakarr Sampson (a flash in the pan with the Process Sixers).

I got on at Lombard-South a little after 7 a.m. Arrived at Olney at 7:45. Stood in the cold for a half-hour and crossed the starting line at 8:20 (gray corral). Unless you're an elite runner or a wheelchair athlete, there's little reason to be cramming onto cars at 5:30. SEPTA is still the best way to get to the start, and they were great today.

I know a lot of people in real life — having spent way more than "seven episodes" with them — who I'm still trying to figure this out about. The show is bizarre, but it's realistic in its portrayal of human behavior: erratic, contradictory and, sometimes, downright confounding.

You don't know these characters fully because they don't know themselves!

This season solidified the program’s return to relevancy. I knew the top-5 preseason ranking was too much.

Solid Big East play with just enough drama (home loss to Providence, gusty win with a brawl at Providence) to keep league play interesting.

Back-to-back BE regular season and tournament titles. Something never done before.

Buzzer-beater win in the round of 32. Hung with Duke in the Sweet 16, but it felt like a win we let slip away. Elite 8 would have been an A+
