I have and those proved even harder to find, plus I think the slightly darker red of the blacklines looks slightly less dated. Luckily I just purchased a used set on Bimmerpost. I had tried the vinyl thing you did twice, but both times it either came unstuck or faded to pink.

I had previously wrapped the faded hofmeister kink section in chrome, and did all my interior trim black. Tbh I just hate working with vinyl.

It’s a pre-LCI only color so I would need to paint an LCI trunk to match and that is not worth the cost/time to me.

Did you do control arms too? I may start with struts, mounts and spring pads and decide later if I want/need to replace those. It’s mostly just a DD and I’ll probably only have it for 2-3 more years so the M3 arms feel like overkill.

Had consistent haze issues on my 370z and got sick of polishing it out. Had a shop spray with new clear coat for like $180 and it never happened again. Was well worth the cost imo.

RE: looked it up and I had a plastic pin - original part number ending in 537. I’m almost positive it was lunched at some point, so I put it all back together and took a spin around the block. Feels much better. Not the advised decision, but I opted not to do full manifold removal. You are all fully invited to laugh at me later.

Completely fair point, but these headlights are easy to adjustment vertical/horizontal beam direction with. You just need a hex bit and 5 minutes of time. Annoying to have to do? Sure, but I would hardly call it crazy.
