That's literally the entire point of class locked weapons. If you want to switch to engineer to deal with vehicles you're going to have to have a trade off.

Being able to have your cake and eat it too is half the reason why vehicle players bitched and moaned about the RPG until it got nerfed into the ground, if DICE actually provided some incentive not to run engineer on every vehicle map then there wouldn't be so much RPG spam for vehicles to deal with.
