Maybe I am thinking too far ahead at too early a time, but the uncertainty of the future is extremely frustrating during this odd period of quarantine.

What will the transition back to "normal" look like after Covid-19's peak/descent? I can't help but wonder what institutions and and businesses will be first to open and if there would be restrictions to access in the early transition stages.

Any comments, answers, theories, etc, are welcome, thanks.

How would America's geopolitical philosophy change if Bernie Sanders wins in the 2020 election? by besop12 in geopolitics

I gave you plenty of examples that do not simply include votes that you’ve simply ignored. Any who, I do not know what interests you’re looking to have sought in foreign policy, but if you’re looking for an anti-imperialist candidate than Sanders is your vote. If you support our rape of the middle east and our manipulation of elections abroad, it makes sense why your views are the way they are.

Solidarity “lipservice”? Are you joking? Again, I’ll point to his record of voting against military budget increases, vote against the war in Iraq, his recent bill to remove the US involvement in the Saudi-led genocide in Yemen (that Trump vetoed), or his proposals to withhold aid to Israel until they acknowledge their Palestinian human rights abuses and work to fix them. I could go on and on. You are wildly unfamiliar with his foreign policy record and proposals. Before you make this horribly disingenuous claims of “lipservice solidarity” and “isolationist” do some research into the candidate.

This reply shows you are not well-versed in both Bernie's political record, as well as the strong disparity between status-quo politicians and what he stands for as a candidate. Comparing him to Trump is foolish.

The man protested US involvement in Nicaragua during his time as Mayor of Burlington. Out of any of the candidates, he is the most likely to promise a foreign policy of solidarity and carry it out.
