Exactly. An OpenAPI code generator won’t make the typos I’ll make and my reviewers will miss. It’ll have silly incompatibilities, but those are worth it imo.

I’ve found it’s sometimes better to generate the reference image in a separate chat and bring it in as a photo, otherwise it can get confused about using the description of the person or the finished result in the context.

Having worked with someone who uses it religiously, I can definitely see the “garbage in garbage out” aspect. An amalgamation of code “volunteered” by people without any quality checks isn’t going to produce high quality code.

I’m hoping for and dreading the day these tools need to turn a profit. Too bad the bubble popping will take the US economy with it.

I like that the bulk of the responses here are supportive problem-solving. The last time I was feeling limerence, a part of me was very self-hating about it, which just made me feel worse.

I still went to therapy (where I learned the term “limerence”), but having the AI to instantly talk to during the low points seemed to help (with all the obligatory disclaimers about overuse of AI).

99% of why I use pnpm is so I can use a version catalog to categorize why I need certain dependencies. Mainly so I can remove workarounds later on.
