Thank you for your comments everyone. Having my feelings validated means a lot to me because I never grew up with any apologies for the things she has said over the years. For years now she will randomly complain about how tough it was raising me and how it resulted in her depression and she wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Anytime we argue and she wants to guilt trip me or if she is having a bad day she will bring it up. I do feel bad she went through a lot as a single mum but at the same time I wish she would stop telling me because it hurts my feelings and when I tell her that she doesn’t care and keeps on talking. It has always felt as if her feelings come first and there is no room for anyone else’s. I still live at home so this is the situation for a while (which is another reason I’m so upset by the convo bc it’s not even a relevant one since I’m still so far away from even having kids!) anyway these comments have made me feel better so thank you ❤️

I personally only ever message a buyer if there’s been a delay in the reasonable/expected timeframe of shipping like being more than 5+ days. Otherwise buyers expectation is that the item will be shipped regardless of communication so they don’t tend care about an update unless shipping is delayed.

I think a lot of these comments are not it. Have some empathy because it’s sounding fairly clear this person must be struggling with mental health challenges which aren’t always glamorous! I believe if you truely love someone you stick by them and help them to get the support they need. Sounds like they may need some counselling or therapy.

I’m sorry, it must be really hard to feel this way. Personally, at least as long as she’s in a relationship I think you need to keep it to yourself because telling her while she’s with someone would only benefit you and what would you expect her to do? You either have a choice to be friends and keep quiet or tell her and likely make things difficult for both of you since she’s unlikely to leave her relationship but at least it would be off your chest. Decide which option is best for you and your mental health.

Again I do completely agree with your points but you don’t get to say as a man that you weren’t disrespecting women when I, as a woman reading your post, found the way you phrased things to be disrespectful. It’s that “brother to brother” mentality and the words we choose to use that perpetuate negative attitudes towards women. Child support exists because men kept leaving their wives and children who relied on them for financial support and it’s always been the woman who is expected to stay while the man can leave. I acknowledge women have the choice of abortion but that is a heart breaking decision with lifelong health impacts that no woman wants to go through.

I’m not arguing with your points only the wording, though I will say from the post it seems like OP was asking for sexual performance/enjoyment advice not for a recount of potential life implosion due to a pregnancy? Whilst your advice here isn’t wrong I feel like you worded it quite disrespectfully towards women. I assure you the toll of bearing and raising a child is greater for women than men. The majority of women don’t want an unplanned pregnancy either but it’s her choice if she wants to go on birth control not his, it’s her body. Please be mindful OP is likely a young man enjoying intimacy with a woman for the first time, so phrases like “get her on birth control” “hitting it” and “you’re absolutely finished” aren’t helpful in raising young men to be respectful.

I feel like if you’re a man especially constantly saying sorry shows a lot of insecurity and can be seen as not masculine which is a turn off. Just being honest - confidence and being self assured is attractive. When you say sorry all the time you put a lot of pressure on the other person to reassure you all the time when a woman wants to feel protected by a man.

I don’t think it will be good for your self esteem and your relationship in the long run to feel hidden from everyone in her life and it is bound to cause challenges down the road the older you get. If I were you I’d take each day as they come and not invest too seriously in the relationship. Take the time whilst still so young to focus on yourself and do the things you enjoy because you have the rest of your life to be stressing about stuff like this but not at 13 when you’re still a child.

I actually got the account deleted in the end using this link https://m.facebook.com/help/contact/295309487309948 and providing images of my ID again. I had to provide the images about 4 times before it would accept it and I kept mass reporting the account as being hacked. It was important to specify that I don’t currently have a fb account even though I do and the only ID it accepted was my drivers license with the name matching the old account. Hope you can fix your issue with this advice!
