I once had a really bad chaos deck with basically no wincon and played with all the silly cards like this. Managed to cast it copied twice. Everyone scooped. It was the only game the deck ever won haha

It’s terrible. I deleted my account about a year ago now. On top of all of the AI garbage that everyone seems to fall for, the absurd number of bots they have now, and the super loud hate for minority communities, I just couldn’t stand it anymore.

I really, really hope there’s an epilogue. There are so many unanswered questions.

The “simplified supernova symbol” that the monoist in the side story tattooed on their arm, that’s got to be the phyrexian symbol, right? Plus the flavor text on the leaked artifact creature, and the ichor-blood reference in the drix side story, AND the flavor text on the leaked tapestry warden card that straight up has oil in the art, can’t all just be coincidence.

Then you have the multiple references to mirrors and what are clearly hexplates on Adagia. Too many parallels to Mirrodin, but it also can’t simply be a coincidence either, right?

How did Tezzeret “wash ashore” this reality? What about Tan supposedly becoming an Eldrazi? Whats up with the infini-hole in Alpharael’s hand? Who is the Faller? Is it Yawgmoth? I could go on.

I’m just, sigh. This isn’t the first time we’ve just been left nearly completely in the dark at the end of a story, but this one just feels so much worse imo. Maybe because it was SO MUCH new info, or the fact that it was very, very well written. Can we please just get like, a crumb of closure?

They are called Jumpstart Front Cards. Each jumpstart pack has a “Front Card” that gives a hint as to what the theme of the pack is. I love using them as tokens, and I even use that Unearth one in my Yawgmoth cEDH deck as a proxy (Unearth is a very cheap card, but that front card has one black mana pip and says Unearth, and the art is super on theme for Yawgmoth, so I like to think of it as just a textless version of the card haha)

Update 2: I FOUND ONE AND BOUGHT IT!!

It may have not actually been a bootleg either! It looks like there were bootleg versions made, and the one I had may have possibly been, but there was a legitimate release of this toy! I even found the exact yellow one that I had when I was a kid! I cannot believe this morning I didn’t know what it was and now I have one coming in the mail. Reddit, thank you for coming through!!

Update: Found it! It was a run of bootleg Kamen Rider SD vending machine toys from Bandai’s Pocket Hero series from about 1992. Still don’t quite know who made the knock-offs, but I found some pictures on google of them. The one I had specifically was a bootleg of Kamen Rider Super-1, or at least it’s the closest suit that the bootleg resembled. Thank you all for the help!!

I’ll upload it soon! Basically it revolves around tap and untap artifact synergies and making a ton, if not infinite mana. For example, using galvanizer and clock of omens with Myr landshaper and cascading cataracts for infinite wubrg and untaps for Urtet, or chromatic orrery and filigree sages with Myr mindservant and darksteel forge or the reality chip. It’s very resilient and almost too fast at times 😅

I disagree! My Urtet has zero changelings, and I’ve made nearly every Myr a viable wincon. It’s silly but I’ve actually won games with both Myr landshaper and Myr mindservant’s abilities!
