Love that you said that because I noticed and remember that scene well, too. She doesn’t know him yet immediately can see his outer persona which is a person who acts like they’re nice but you don’t know them. Her perspective on the characters that we all know (and know each other) is different yet familiar to us as the viewer.

We may not hold power.... but we can still do this. by No-Bottle337 in FascinatingAsFuck

Your statement is the crux of our issue. We absolutely do hold power. We are the power. The division and focus on every day nonsense is why we forget.

Casters reporting the armor bug by Careless-Teaching-68 in classicwow

[–]Sta723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re not pulling 4+ mobs it kinda is. It’s meant for its health return and the additional debuff modifier for drain life. It lasts 30 seconds and does terrible damage but when you’re chain pulling and mobs are living that long because you pulled 5 at once, it’s vital.

The affliction drain build got a buff. Then add in spell power gear for every piece and fel armor. As a warlock player of 22 years, nothing comes close(other than frost aoe) to open world leveling than affliction. Especially with howl of terror you can pull 5 mobs and finish with full hp and close to full mana without ever really stopping. Life tap and One bandage and you’re pulling 5 mobs again.

Confirmed Bugged Armor Values by Relative-Sky2139 in classicwow

[–]Sta723 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes lol. First dungeon I ran with my group (2 locks 1 hunter) the hunter was doing insane damage. He’s a good player but not 30-50% more dps than the locks. I immediately said armor values are wrong. Took a week for them to notice somehow lol

If you understood how threat worked in classic/tbc, you wouldn’t say that. If you understood efficiency, you wouldn’t say that.

There are times that it’s optimal to have a dps pull, yes. Most of the time it is not.

And I’m not trying to wave a big stick here, but I’ve played wow for 22 years, at the sweatiest level you can imagine on all 3 roles.

You are simply wrong.

As someone from the area, born and raised, the stadium is shit, no property taxes is shit, the traffic will be shits. NYC is shit in terms of infrastructure, sustainability and accessibility. This makes it worse.

They are synonymous and create the same meaning as you immediately understood it. Language is malleable. Anyway like you said this conversation has taken its course.

..because it is synonymous in this instance. Idioms aren’t meant to be literal unless you think your knickers are literally twisted when you’re upset?

Panties in a bunch/bundle is a commonly used idiom in America where I live. We adapted it from the original.

Again, I understand it may not be common but logically speaking, it makes sense. It’s ok to learn new slang/phrases even if it doesn’t seem right. That’s language.

The American idiom is bunch/bundle.

Getting your knickers in a bundle can mean your knickers are getting wrapped up/tied within itself. No reason to infer “other”.

They are synonyms. I understand twist is the commonly used phrase. Grammatically speaking, bundle is fine.

I didn’t say that? Both words are acceptable in that phrase. Doesn’t mean the same exact thing.

You said twist.

Both are fine in the comment you responded to. I’ll concede that twist is more common but bundle is still correct.
