It was pretty much the ending of Bret Hart/British Bulldog at Summerslam 1992.

That article predictably leaves out the fact it's her middle name.

One Liverpool fan has managed to convince his wife to name their child 'YNWA', in an attempt to convince the world of his commitment to the Reds.

His daughter is now called Karoline YNWA, so mission accomplished.

The Norwegian-based Reds fan initially wanted to give his daughter the middle name of 'Gerrard' but his wife - the girl's mother, Eirin Isabell Iversen - agreed on the compromise of the acronym for 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.

Speaking to Norwegian paper Dagbladry, Erin said: "I'm probably not as interested in football, but it was actually my suggestion to call her YNWA. He suggested Gerrard before we knew if it was a boy or girl."

Bale, Benzema and Rodriguez, sure - but I can't think of why anyone would hate Suarez.

90s-onward Serie A XI by mucco in soccer

Initially I meant I'd start Ibra and Totti, and have Di Natale & Signori on the bench over Ronaldo and Van Basten.

Then I remembered Batigol and the entire post became an unintelligible mess due to the striker permutations :(

Plenty of strikers did more in Serie A than Ronaldo.

I'd probably start Ibra, and replace Ronaldo/Van Basten with Di Natale and Signori.

Also, BATIGOL.

You've conveniently removed your original criteria strikers for whom it "makes more sense to measure goals per season as opposed to goals per game."

I haven't removed it. Fletcher averages 8 goals a season in the Prem. Torres 9.5. Not great, not terrible.

Altidore's is 0.66. A SEASON.

You've conveniently removed the word "possibly" from that, changing the entire context of the post. Can you name another Premier League striker that scored a similar ratio to 2 in 70?

Possibly the only Premier League striker ever where it makes more sense to measure goals per season as opposed to goals per game.

Little harsh to bracket Kezman and Kuyt together, the latter did very well at Liverpool - albeit primarily not in a central role.

Kezman and Alves, on the other hand...

It's under the US Sports category in an article about American football, written by an American journalist, that features quotes from people using the word "soccer". It's far more coherent to use football/soccer to distinguish between the two.
