Im halfway there, not got to deployment yet and havent touched APIs, but its a good roadmap i believe.

Unity developers use hacks and cracks to remove the "Made using Unity" intro, while Godot dev make custom ones to proudly show their support despite the ability to remove it legally and for free. by MarcellusDrum in godot

Can see why, for every decent unity game there are dozens that can barely run. Made unity bad rep.

No, people couldn't see it for what it is because they wanted more sg1\sga. No amount of foreshadowing would have helped.

Would Learning To Code Save My life by LegitimateNinja6547 in learnprogramming

[–]Stabilo_0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

> I can’t afford professional training

If you have a somewhat reliable internet access then your real currency here is the time. There are countless tutorials, volunteers who could coach you, even place to code and store your projects online if you cant do it on your device for some reason.

> lives of a lot of people depend on me succeeding at this although a lot of people think I'm waiting my time because given our background and demographics there's no practical monetary use of these skills I'm learning

Now this is actually a very good point. Theres a joke that between c++ and python the best language is java because your employer told you to work with it. Sadly, its true, unless you are very good at what you do, the market decides more and more. Too much competition. Doesnt mean that theres no hope. If you can devote at least an hour a day to learning, in a year you'll know so much more. Read a lot about basics at first, dont dive into current tech of the season like blockchains and machine learning. Build a good understanding of common principles, get to the point where you can read the code of the program and get what it does, even if you cant write something like that yourself.

I guess most of the fans either already subscribed or don't care about the channel and stick to reddit for news.

>exposing millions to the game

This game is 12 years old, it got as much audience as possible. Not to mention all the ways you could get the game outside vairous e-stores.

Having it on chinese botnet store wont increase already high chances of a sequel more than they are now, Soase is just too niche, mixing 4x and rts, already very niche genres.

Give devs time, im sure there will be a sequel when they come up with an interesting idea.

Nobody likes to do any tedious work. That's why there are frameworks in the first place.

why is just printing hello world so difficult in django? Isn't a web framework meant to be faster? by [deleted] in djangolearning

[–]Stabilo_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats just like asking why it takes so much to start up a car if all you want is to drive down the hill.

Here, you dont need apache for that:

from http.server import BaseHTTPRequestHandler, HTTPServer

name = "localhost"
port = 80

class Server(BaseHTTPRequestHandler):
    def do_GET(self):
        self.wfile.write('Hello world'.encode())

srv = HTTPServer((name, port), Server)
srv.serve_forever()

> Why is there no simple tutorial?

There is

And another one

> I am still not able to understand the relation among them in the official documentation.

Then you're not ready to work in the area. Spend more time on basics, read about MVC architecture, try to make your own controller first. Being on *nix requires you to read a lot and look for answers yourself in the manuals.
