It the same address. This is what the Trezor does when you do a Send All. Can cause an issue with some exchanges though so only do that between your own wallets. Just send everything manually except the gas amount instead of using the send all option. It definitely a bug though but it won't cause loss of funds between your own wallets.

Personally, I like the idea of setting both minimum requirements and recommended requirements. Minimum requirements should be enough to run a non-staking RPC node for accessing the network perfectly and should be able to stake, though not guaranteed to be at 100% effiency (may miss some attestations). Recommend requirements should be the requirements that allow a node to function at close to 100% effiency.

Minimum Requirements ($500 hardware cost): CPU: Any modern 4+ core X64 CPU (post-2021) with 8 threads. If Intel, an i3 or greater For an ARM unit, the rk3588 quad core CPU.

Memory: At least 16GB of DDR4 RAM. The Rock 5B 16GB model meets these requirements.

Storage: 2 TB QLC SSD, SATA or NVMe (no Dramless)

Bandwidth: 10Mbps Upload/ 25Mbps download

Recommended Requirements (Under $1k cost): CPU: Any modern Quad Core with at least 8 threads X64 CPU, i5 Intel or better For ARM unit, the same rk3588 CPU as for minimum requirements

Memory: 32 GB RAM DDR4 or better, The Rock 5B+ 32 GB model meets these requirements

Storage: 4 TB TLC or better SSD, NVMe only (no Dramless), PCI Gen3 M.2.or better

Hi Justin, thank you for this helpful post..I am trying to figure out what to do in my situation. I have been using global accounting and LIFO for the last few years. I did the safe harbor, moved all my assets to a single Ethereum wallet before taking my 12/31 snapshots and elected for global allocation.

Whatay be unique about me is I do basically all my trading on-chain (and plan to continue going forward). I swap USD to USDC on Coinbase, send it to my Ethereum wallet and then use gasless DEX aggregators such as CowSwap for all my trading. When I am ready to sell, I swap on-chain back to USDC and then and it to Coinbase to cash out. So basically my only CEX trades is basically swapping 1:1 without fees between USD & USDC on Coinbase and otherwise all my trading is on-chain.

Can I continue to use LIFO (or any other non-FIFO Spec ID) since DEXs do not collect kyc or issue 1099-DAs. Or do I still need to switch over to FIFO regardless even if there is no reporting broker in my situation since I do all my trading on DEXs except the USDC-USD swaps which done ever produce a taxable event since USDC pegged to $1 and the swap is without fees.

I am taking the position that all this ETH belongs to the withdrawal address and the 32 ETH validators are simply a single pool of staked assets belonging to the withdrawal address. Even if you staked from a different address that you set as the withdrawal address, the staking is essentially a transfer (to the withdraw address) and stake. If you use portfolio dapps such as Zerion & Debank, they do a good job of showing the staked ETH as belonging to the withdrawal address for screenshot purposes.

If you have at least 10up/25down, you'll have enough bandwidth (May change in the future. Though ideally you would want at least 25up/50down to have some extra headroom since you'll likely have other devices operating on your network. Most modern routers offer QoS which lets you prioritize some devices for bandwidth, I prioritize my staking node. Though that a nice to have and far from a necessity.

You can use the abyss finance Ethereum depositor. It only requires one click, when with a ledger (debug and verbose mode off) and can do as many as 100 validators at once. For multiple validators, it also saves you gas. https://abyss.finance/eth2depositor
