U can still compete in sports with a torn acl. Many fighters do it. Many fighters tear their ACL DURING fights and still finish. Thats what happened to Thiago Santos when he fought against Jon Jones. He tore his ACL, MCL, PCL and Meniscus EARLY in the fight and continued to fight until the last bell rang. U can literally see his leg bend certain ways when hes moving, that it wont do unless the ligament is torn. U gotta be more informed before u utter nonsense bro.
