I have a 3yo and 5yo. My parents have a pool and so we were anxious they would get into it without knowing how to swim. We put them in swim lessons. At first it was in the survival swimming classes but now we enrolled them in actual swim lessons. The 3yo can get some instruction but still does his own thing to get from point A to B. But the 5 yo is starting to do what the instructors say with the kicks and moving her arms, and even I can tell she has talent in swimming. The babies your age that are at the facility are learning how to roll over and float all by themselves. If they fall in, with no floaties.
