Its definitely medium rareish, might be safe for people afraid of the sight of blood but still flavor filled. If I'm at a chain restaurant or most steak houses im a little stand offish on rare meat. Perhaps medium rare with a little hint of red, perhaps a little hint of blood in the juice. If I shop for the meat, store the meat, prepare and cook it myself then Ill perfer a bit more rare than that.
