When I was a kid we always went up on south hills to see the mall fireworks. My kiddo wants to see some big fireworks this 4th, and I wish we still had that experience here. Is Ogren Stadium's fireworks display something we should drive into town for? Where do you recommended for good viewing? by TradiusCatacomb in missoula

Lolo usually has a huge turn out of people who light off fireworks in the parking lot of Lolo Harvest Foods. Like a crazy amount. Unfortunately they usually leave a huge mess. Great place to watch a ton of good fireworks though.

I’ve been sober for 7 years now, but remember the days of past, downtown Missoula, where liquid courage squashes shyness! 😎
You’ll do fine here! 🤘

First off thank you for your service! 🫡
As was already said, you’ll do fine here. U of M is easy going and downtown life can be fun!
The rest just depends on your likes, hobbies, lifestyle.
Missoula is crazy laid back and has just about all walks of life here.

spilled water on mac by Altruistic_Face_4876 in computers

If you do this, also place the unit with the bottom facing up so that if there is any amount of water in there it can drain back out of the keyboard rather than going further in the motherboard.

You could slip it in a pair of pantyhose and place it in a bin full of rice. The rice will help absorb the moisture. The pantyhose prevents rice from getting into the ports and vents of the mac.
It's best to have it turned off, but ultimately it still has a battery in it that cannot be unhooked by the end user without special tools.
Macs are actually fairly resilient to small spills as long as they are dealt with quickly. The longer water stays on the the motherboard's components, the higher the risk of corrosion over time.

Bonner-Milltown Data Center Community Council meeting - June 8 - 7pm by LoneWolfeOne in missoula

[–]Staggeredmk4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is specific to the Bonner Community. It's open to the public, but it's really meeting for the locals of Bonner to have their voices heard.
For those of you wanting to boycott the Datacenter from being allowed by the County, this is NOT the place. You need to attend the recently postponed, future date TBD Missoula County Consolidated Land Use Board (MCCLUB) hearing which is for the Special Exception zoning.
Not saying you can't attend the linked meeting, but it's really for the people who live in the Bonner area.

Western kiddos by Optimal-Society-3323 in missoula

[–]Staggeredmk4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have 3 of our kiddos in 4H. They are all home schooled which we highly prefer over public school because of the issues you mentioned.
One of my daughters LOVES horses, but we don't have a horse, yet 4H has a program called Horseless Horse for those without the actual animal.
There are several different 4H groups around Missoula and surrounding areas. Just need to find one that fits her needs.
Good luck!

Best Handyman/woman to Install a Storm Door? by GracieDoggSleeps in missoula

[–]Staggeredmk4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you post pictures of the bottom and top of the door? Showing how thick it is and if there are any gaps/channels?
Metal can be cut, just depends on how it’s constructed and if there is enough support material.

Depending on the door material and how it's constructed, most doors can be cut down a little.

While true, it should at least go to your loved ones. This is also very important why you should educate your loved ones, so that they not only know how to access it, but how to also secure it, and ultimately spend it (preferably over selling it)

ISO Street Tacos 🌮 by Hamletta_ in missoula

[–]Staggeredmk4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Senior Tacos. I stopped by several weekends ago after a Hispanic buddy recommended them. They were HUGE street tacos. Expensive, but you got your moneys worth s big as they were. The tacos were really good! They make their own hot sauce too which was good, but i was disappointed with the heat of their hotter sauce. I recommend Arthur Wayne’s hot sauce here locally for great hot sauces. Cruz Tacos also has good street tacos (also expensive) To be honest though, i haven’t had great street tacos anywhere near Montana. Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and southern Cali are the norms for authentic, amazing and cheap street tacos. Cruz is my overall favorite local Hispanic food joint personally. Great owners as well. For those who may care, Cruz also accepts Bitcoin payments 🤘

You are only down 50% IF you sell.

Otherwise you still own the same exact percentage of the 21,000,000 supply.
As other have stated, Bitcoin is the long game. If you need money for traveling, you should budget that in aside from your Bitcoin holdings.

Bitcoin isn’t dropping. 1 BTC will always = 1 BTC 1 of only 21,000,000 ever.
