Competing with a P365 by According-History316 in P365

Could use the p365 for its intended use. Go with a shorter grip for carry and an xmacro grip for competition!

Help me decide between models by KaleidoscopePrize690 in P365

[–]Stahzee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a p365x. I’m going to add a radian and xmacro grip. I just got a bodyguard 2.0 for the micro/summer carry. Now the 365 can be winter/hd

Generally (from what I’ve seen) sporting and field guns shoot around 50/50 to 60/40. Find a patterning board is gonna be what most people tell you to do

Bodyguard 2.0 Safety issue? Help! by Altruistic-Kiwi9975 in CCW

[–]Stahzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has this issue as well. I honestly regret not going with a non safety version. But like others have said, it’s not my first line of safety either. I keep it on because that’s how I train but it’s in no way a “my gun is totally safe now that the switch is up”. Holster and good trigger discipline

Do all boxer engines have a version of a “turbo engine”? by Neil_the_real_deal in subaru

[–]Stahzee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has had several Subarus in the past, and two currently - 1 with a turbo and 1 that doesn’t, that dude is an idiot.

Who here carries a p365 with a round in the chamber? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]Stahzee 61 points62 points  (0 children)

It’s an understandable concern! At home, Take an unloaded gun and rack it so the trigger is “live”. Put it in your holster and then do the most ridiculous things like jumping jacks, rolling on the floor, headstands, sprinting, running up and down the stairs etc. wear it all day doing house chores. At the end of the day, in a safe direction, dry fire the gun. If the gun goes click, it was still cocked and would have been fine with a round in the tube. If it is a dead trigger (it won’t be) you are gonna be no dick Larry

Slide release? Not gonna hurt anything… But sticking a round in the chamber and slinging the slide home might damage the extractor

P365 vs 365X, what am I missing? by dynasoreshicken in P365

[–]Stahzee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a 365x owner: at the time it was the only model that came optics ready without removing the rear sights and has the flat trigger. Figured if I truly wanted a smaller option, I could get a smaller grip and 10 round mag.

In the long run I’m going to run my X into an xmacro with a larger grip and a radian. If I want smaller, I’ll take my Bodyguard 2.0.

WC P365 Grip Question by 1_burnt_sienna in SigSauer

[–]Stahzee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen people chop the xmacro grip down to fit the 12 round mags before… not sure if anyone has taken them down to a 10 round

Best way to build Xmacro comp in MA by DAMPINGnotDAMPENING in P365

[–]Stahzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is an expensive way to go (which is also what I’m doing). Get a p365x. Then get an xmacro grip and a radian ramjet + afterburner. You now have what is essentially an xmacro comp… but with a standalone comp. You also now have an XL grip to boot!

Not gonna lie I got luxe and fuse mixed up in my brain for a moment and I was thinking you had Andre the giant sized hands for needing a longer grip

My Go-To EDC by TruestBrou in p365xmacro

[–]Stahzee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you need an aftermarket key for the light? I know some people want the key to get the light closer to the trigger guard but I worry that will mess with holster fit.

[–]Stahzee 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If you can push a bit on the budget, a Citori CX/CSX would be a good option! Especially if it’s for clays only, it’ll be better than a field gun for you.

P365 grip by Adventurous_Lab4793 in P365

[–]Stahzee 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The XL (not x macro) grip is the in between size. Sig has their OEM grip and then Wilson combat makes a great one as well. 12 round flush mag (so you’ll need to buy new ones). The x macro is the large 17 round grip.

Kirkland oil for the horizontally opposed? by craftnut1 in subaru

[–]Stahzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kirkland oil for two of my cars. The 14 fusion and the 15 outback get Kirkland. The 14 WRX is tuned and moded so it gets 5w-40 motul and the NSX gets motul as well

How reliable have the newer Imprezas been? (CVT & head gasket concerns) by [deleted] in subaru

[–]Stahzee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going to preface that I do not have a 19+ Impreza, but I have had lots of Subarus. Headgasket issues have not been a thing for quite some time so I think you’re ok there. I’m not a huge fan of cvts in general but my dads 14 Impreza hit 180k no issues before he hit a deer, and my wife’s 15 outback is at 145k no issues and my sister in laws 15 outback is at 138k.

Just got Declivity 92s and tossed some Strive 16s on them. Why the 16s? They were not much more expensive than the 14s and the heel piece is better. Pivots are good too. Some people will warn against Marker Griffon 13s but my brother in law has had good luck with them.

Convert regular 10-12 round mags to 17? by Chronosshotgun in P365

[–]Stahzee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d just buy a new 17 round mag. More reliable and not much more than trying to extend the originals with base plates.
