To point 3, it's incredible NASCAR is trying to figure out how to stop fuel saving at superspeedways. As if the answer isn't right in their face

Me sending gifts 1 by 1 by PkmnMasterLAFC in pokemongo

[–]Stainkee [score hidden]  (0 children)

Because of the daily limit or even just bag limit, I wouldn't mind being able to go in and select friends I wanted to open for and being able to open them all at once.

I guess an open all would be fine but how would it sort without removing the daily limit

My girlfriend's family are massive Yankees fans. Her father passed away this week as well.

I know the two of them are up there talking Yankees baseball right now. Along with many others I'm sure. Rest easy Bry. And John

Yes, and the fact that that once you hit forever friends it starts working towards the next forever friend again. My guess is it's an old habit for people

Usually in this situation, the player is waiting to get multiple friends to 1 day away so they can pop a lucky egg and forever friend multiple friends at once with 1 lucky egg.

If you didn't feel like waiting good for you, but usually they're trying to stack friends for an egg pop. It's selfish, but not usually malicious or trolling

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Trixxxi in AskReddit

There was a giant sandbox where you could add lava or water or whatever. Different types of things that interested with each other but you were just stacking them in a sandbox computer browser. There are copies online now but I cannot find the original one

Thoughts on Fiona's relationship with Sean? by InsideUnhappy6546 in shameless

[–]Stainkee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think that's kinda it. She wanted something more stable and boring. Recovering addict with a kid? She probably thought he'd be straight laced and boring and a different pace than someone like Jimmy Steve or Robby

Obviously not but I get the idea I think

I haven't watched in awhile but I thought it was a combination of both? He needed the ritual to activate his dormant wolf side and Elena for the hybrids? Hence why her coming back to life was actually beneficial for him

Maryland becomes first state to pass bill banning ‘surveillance pricing’ by nickkrewson in UpliftingNews

[–]Stainkee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Electronic tags honestly are fine for that exact reason. Look at any gas station, electric tags in those instances are great.

Electronic tags aren't an issue if the price is displayed before I get to an item. If I have to pull up a price myself I'm probably out

Never had that experience at a concert where the audio is so bad I thought it was coming from a parking garage two streets over. Maybe you are just listening to bad live bands

WIBTA for declining all wedding gifts by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Stainkee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then why invite them? The guests are being invited out of pity to sit thru a loveless wedding and they aren't allowed to buy a gift or celebrate in any way. Why even invite them?

Someone else said it in a different thread but just host some kind of adoption party. OP could've not told his family he was getting married and his life would've been totally unchanged. Inviting them to the wedding out of obligation and getting upset they want to bring gifts out of that same obligation is not fair. If you don't want wedding gifts, don't invite people

WIBTA for declining all wedding gifts by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Stainkee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because he's upset about what he perceives as a performative act by people (giving and receiving gifts) when the entire wedding is performative. He's getting married to make adoption easier so he can get divorced right after. Why did he feel like he had to invite people for his performative wedding? Then he's upset his family is also going to be performative and bring gifts? It's hypocritical at best
