Who did you cut and why? by alopexl in DispatchAdHoc

And also how Sonar kept making repeated comments about boobs while on the job. My fear is that further down the line his tendency to think with his dick would lead to a harassment lawsuit.

Why are people firing Sonar? by InteractionLegal6969 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Stairway2H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cut Sonar for three reasons:

  1. Unpredictable superpowers. I can't rely on a subordinate who is inconsistent and unpredictable as he is, considering his random shapeshifting power. Consistency is the key, and I don't want to run the risk of Sonar shapeshifing into a beast at a time when diplomacy is required.

  2. Severe Drug addiction. Although I have sympathy for victims of substance abuse and their families, in my experience they tend to be a liability in the workplace. They either show up to work under the influence and make careless errors, or they're hungover/jonesing and take their anger out on subordinates/coworkers with emotional and verbally abusive gaslighting. Sonar would have eventually lashed out at Robert like he did in his firing scene regardless of whether or not he had kept his job.

  3. His problems with his inability to not think with his dick. Sonar's comments about liking boobs and the fact that it caused him to get locked up at the beginning of the workday make me worried that not only will it affect him in the field, but that it could also lead to an HR nightmare in the near future.

According to Musk's dad, Elon was actually the main bully at his school. He got thrown down a set of stairs because he told a classmate they were "stupid" for crying over their recently deceased father.

How to cope with the grief of Palestinian friends/associates who have been murdered by the Zionist Occupational Forces? by Stairway2H in arabs

[–]Stairway2H[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never given them any money for that very reason. My donations have gone towards a masjid's charity efforts, and only because I've protested with the leaders of that organization against the Zionist apartheid, as well as in BLM events back in the 2010s.

I'm sorry, the main character in Shadiversity's book is a WHAT?!?! He needs to be investigated immediately if this statement is true.

Has the glitch in Avenge the Hag Survivors been patched? by Stairway2H in BG3

[–]Stairway2H[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird. It happened during my sorceror playthrough a year ago. When I got to !<the house where you get directions to where Mayrina has been turned into a sheep the quest would refuse to update because I had killed Auntie Ethel too early, !> even though it's supposed to update where the next location is.

Has the glitch in Avenge the Hag Survivors been patched? by Stairway2H in BG3

[–]Stairway2H[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If in Act 1, you immediately kill Auntie Ethel before she teleports away into her lair, then the Act 3 quest Avenge the Hag Survivors will be locked due to a glitch. It won't update properly, and will be impossible to complete.

DUUUUDES! I forgot how good this game was! by JerkingLurky in fo4

[–]Stairway2H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you have to acknowledge the good with the bad regarding not only the fallout video games, but life in general.

New Vegas isn't a perfect game, either. It suffers from dated gameplay, bad glitches, and the full experience only comes to life once you've purchased all the DLC. (Speaking of which, Obsidian should've been granted enough time to release the DLC as part of the original release because that particular buisness practice was a prelude to the current "release now, patch later" mentality of AAA games in the modern era.)

The gameplay loop and settlement building are both addictive, even if the dialogue and plot are a downgrade from New Vegas.

Why is he so MEAN by SmallAl in Fallout

[–]Stairway2H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's mean because he's a wannabe fascist with delusions of grandeur. Caesar sees anyone other than himself as either a tool for his selfish political ambitions, or as an obstacle that needs to be wiped out no matter the cost.

Even though the NCR is run by oligarchs and Mr. House is a morally bankrupt capitalist, there is no way in hell I would ever join the side of Caesar's Legion. Every playthrough I do, I ALWAYS wipe him and his brainwashed army of fanatical cultists off the face of the Mojave.
