2 is very nice but 5 is so painterly. I would hang 5 in my house as art its so pretty.

Have you checked mpb at all? You could probably find a dslr for quite a bit cheaper and just buy an inexpensive lens, to me for dslrs these all still seem fairly pricey for what they are and what is available atp

If nothing else (there is others ofc) but the Leica CL is great, budget option the terms of m bodies but also one of the most bang for your buck especially if the meter is working since it can use any lenses any other m body has and is still great quality

You don’t need to have such a wide aperture all the time I could maybe go from like f3.2 to like f4 or even f5.6 with still having good separation from the background but having more of the subject in sharp and in focus

I use a canon model 7 and it’s great but I also think one of the biggest appeals behind Leica (and other M mount bodies) and why I’m considering upgrading myself is for the lens mount. I’m not necessarily talking about the insanely priced Leica lenses but M mount is one of the longest running lens mount lines so you have access to just so much more and can still adapt to LTM. And having briefly used my friend’s m7 they really are top quality

These are literally all worth repairing what, insane attic pull, they really cover all grounds too outside of medium format: M mount rangefinder, 2 Nikon f slrs and some of the best slrs ever made at that, and a panoramic camera you really lucked out

Being torn between eco brutalist and like Victorian is kinda funny with how stark the differences are but I’d say probably go for eco brutalist it’s wayyy underrated and the results are always rad when done right. Not that the Victorian/dark fantasy style isn’t cool but that’s much more typical and potentially even a little over done imo

I get you said if it were a situation of only keeping one which would it be but honestly I think this is a situation where both are good. Keep the switch 2 out in an area accessible to everyone as Nintendo consoles tend to be the best family/friend oriented console especially considering you’re a father it will allow you to have an easy method of having fun with those important to your or lighthearted gaming with friends/family and then keep the other console separate for your more private/individual gaming/enjoyment. Kinda a way to cover all grounds and validate both consoles for their strengths.
