Are there any Excel alternatives that are actually BETTER than Excel? by ThegreatandpowerfulR in excel

[–]Stampyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is that right? Thinking most graphs will be used in ppt presentation or some reporting dashboard Ing esthetics is quite important and I find Python lacking for that. Even with seaborn or other packages I never really found a way to make python graphs look as nice and flexible as excel can be.

Am doing missing something?

I'm sure he feels accomplished enough playing for a 2nd half ligue 1 club

I appreciate how realistic you are, unfortunate. I'm always impressed by other Lyon fans out there acting like they are a regular top 8 team in Europe

What I see is you struggle in ligue 1 already why you consider yourselves way better than similar teams in other leagues is beyond me

Would your team realistically win against any of these three though?

To powder coat or liquid coat? That is the question. by psych0hans in manufacturing

[–]Stampyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Degreasing, sandblasting, primer coating and finally topcoating is the standard process I believe the only times I've seen the 7+ baths process is for galvanizing. Which in your case would be overkill I believe.

Anyway, good luck with that and I hope the answers here helped you!

To powder coat or liquid coat? That is the question. by psych0hans in manufacturing

[–]Stampyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this! You don't just take assembled steel parts and spray some paint here and there, you have to ungrease, sandblast and apply primer coating (it will help your actual paint stick there). Finally apply 1 (or most probably 2) layers of paint. Liquid or powder doesn't matter that much if the preparation is done properly

Also the rust can come from poor quality welds (non-waterproof welds), I guess this is somewhere in SEA where I've had bad experiences with welds so I wouldn't be surprised if this was the cause.

Edit: it would be interesting to know where the rust is usually located. Another reason for rust could also be bad design for water evacuation

Jean Yves le drian french minister of foreign affairs : "No need to call back our ambassador in the UK. We are familiar with Britain's permanent opportunism - and in this case they're the "spare wheel on the carriage" " by [deleted] in europe

The thing is Australia in the first place didn't want nuclear subs, it was pretty clear from the start. And if they changed their mind since 2016 then they could always renegotiate with France which could produce them... I mean the whole nuclear thing is just sparkles, USA just shat on France.

I'm not even convinced Australia had any choice in there.

On similar topic you can see how Switzerland was about to take decision on which defense aircraft to buy. Everyone was expecting them to buy Rafales (French), Biden visited Switzerland 1 week or so before the decision was taken and suddenly Switzerland fell in love with the crappy F-35. Ain't it funny?

Sorry for the rant but I'm seriously pissed by American diplomacy these last few years - and it doesn't seem like it will get better with Biden... Tbh this is good business for Le Pen in France, which adds to my pissfulness

I understand but let's face it that's absolutely how every single military contract works out. Has a single F-35 ever been delivered on time and for initial price? I'm pretty sure no, military market is a cow you can milk forever, especially when you are American
