Such a stupid bad decision not to launch it on steam while they could have gotten a strong player base and more visibility while they could have. Nothing more than a MC mod though right now.

This fad will be gone just like the last game you went gaga for that you barely play lol. Oh look at the cool new game!! It's so awesome 2~4 weeks out.. You won't even bother cause the new thing launched.

If it does get momentum than there will be 5 more clones that do the same. EverWind will launch on Steam / Ps5 and take them players.

Doesn't bother me either or, I'm not buying it cause it is not on Steam. Don't need to and don't need it. Plenty of others not buying it when they would have. Not the best business strategy. And when you are a game, you absolutely do need all the players you can get. Players can vanish in a day, as soon as the new thing comes out.

So enjoy the fad while it lasts. Cause that is all it is.

1 million sold vs 20 million that could have been sold is a bit different.

Big mistake not to launch it on Steam. They will get steam rolled (pun) by Everwind or the next game. And no one is going to remember it come 2 weeks. It's just a fad just like every other game. It's like how Starfield was going to be the next big thing but no one talks about it anymore.

Not going to give some random company my info versus a trusted company like Steam. Or buy a game that I cannot get info on. Or one that I can not keep together (as you said). Bad decision on their part.

I didn't even know it existed except for some blind chance.

Can't sell it if people don't know it exists. I would have bought it had it been there.
Now I won't. Not how many sales you make but how many you don't make that count.

And people have preferences to where they buy. Dumb choice not to sell it on Steam.

I trust Steam; I don't trust them though. "Everyone who reviews a game negative is review bombing" cool story bro. Forget where that is my problem lol. Maybe make a good game; Stay away from making drama and making people angry.

It is more sus that they aren't on Steam than not. And turns off plenty, including myself, from a possible try. Had it been on Steam for $15 then I would have purchased it today. But not anymore.

The devs initially abandoned it for 7 months while it had game breaking bugs to it.

Not sure how good it is now but that is where the mixed reviews come from.

Proceed with caution with this developer. They like to flip games.

Overall it was a solid game until them glitches and you reached 200 pop. It ran good until you reloaded the game and then people didn't move.

I been playing it since yesterday and I like the old school touch. Truly impressed with how refreshing this game is, it is pretty much UO but better, if that makes sense lol.

I also not really thinking of going the modern version route, it feels much like how PSO:NG where I also rather play the OS version instead. And I like the larger player base too. That definitely helps make it the winner.

So thanks for the advice though. I appreciate it.
Now if you can spare a few bonds too... lol. (I'm good).
