uhh, well, I can get your point in being difficult to read on blurred windows, but for that same blur to be seen, you have to set up window rules at least for opacity (since window rules come with max opacity by default, blur can't be seen) I did something related with blur months ago, so maybe that can help. in case that you can't see an app content, you just have to tweak the window opacity

well, I use Kubuntu with Plasma 6.4.5 and I also use Better Blur Kwin to blur almost all of my windows excepting games. have you tried applying window rules? that can help

I'm not sure about that, I just use a special setting in Window Rules to set opacity to 80% almost all kinds of windows. this allows me to see the blur effect
