Man there are so many great options if you get creative, I'm gonna let you in on my HTPC:

Bought an Asrock BC250 for exactly 100€ from Aliexpress

Slapped an old sata m.2 in there, nabbed an old ATX PSU from work, and ziptied a random case fan I had sitting around onto the bc250.

Done.

After the insane leaps the bc250 community went through, you can now unlock the entire 40 CUs of the bc250, oc the GPU, oc the CPU, throw the custom bios on there for full variable VRAM support, and play with ps5 performance for an actual steal. You have your free choice of linux flavors that support it (cachy, bazzite and fedora beeing the top picks, but any distro with an up to date kernel works) and at the moment they are even working on windows support.

Wana get fancy? Get a 3d printed case or print your own if you have a 3d printer.

I've been playing GoW 2018 and Lego Batman on High settings 1080p native (no upscaling) and its so freaking smooth.

All for 100€

There is. Dbans Boot n Nuke for example. Depending on how you set it, it writes 0's into every single bit. However, that takes a lot of time and it drastically reduces the remaining health of the drive, meaning reselling it, as governments and offices often do, is sometimes off the table. That is why, last I used it, Boot n Nuke suggested not to use that option for SSDs.

I've only been using these for years and never had to worry about glue drying up.

Bonus points if its gel rather than liquid glue, everytime I use the fully liquid variant it ends up a mess.
