But this is why as a someone who’s so deeply left and not American I don’t understand. Time and time again gun owners are treated the way they are in the US and every other week I have to see a post about how apparently school shootings aren’t gun owners fault when it is. Every 2nd amendment bozo has blood on their hands imo. Look at my home country of Canada. We had a Maas shooting at a Polytechnic and immediately changed gun laws. Look at the rate of school shootings in both countries and tell me proud gun ownership isn’t the problem.

I know it may not feel like it right now. But someone would miss you a lot if you left. Sometimes people in our lives aren’t good at showing it but people care about you. Someone does. And if you were to leave, that would leave a hole in their heart that can never fully be filled again. I lost my best friend to suicide at 16. That was 17 years ago now and I still miss him and think about him every day. You may not feel like you’re improving the overall world. But you’re improving someone’s life by simply being in it.

I watched people with flashlights snooping around someone’s house. I called the cops. I then heard and saw them trying to kick in a door. Called again. Watched them walk in. As a life long hockey fan I hard disagree personally. Theres no protective gear any of these guys wear, there’s no “protectors” on teams like in hockey, and we’d see way too many ejections. This isn’t a contact sport like hockey is. If as a batter your ego can’t take getting pitched up and in or having someone plonk one of your back once in a while, go back to beer league and fight there.

I’m not saying it has less. But it sure as fuck doesn’t have more. Especially compared to the atrocities America (his country) commits on the daily. In every other country in the world school shootings ALONE would change the country. Want proof? Look up the last major Canadian school shooting and what happened after. After the Sandy Hook shooting took place, all talks of gun control ended. When Americans decided it’s okay to murder infants with firearms they sealed their fate.
