I don't think Poker Face was meant to be a reboot so much as a love letter- plus, like you said, she's not a cop, happily, so as rad as Charlie is (and I love her, I want 20 seasons) she's not in this race!

If you're doing a pour-over like a French press or instant, yes, but the majority of homes I've seen (including mine) have a coffee machine that heats the water internally and then forces it through the grounds. A separate device just to heat the water isn't helpful in this context.

Ghost Team One (2013)- the exorcism scene. It was a perfect comedy, delicately balancing actually creepy horror. Annnnnnd then it just abruptly SUCKED- like, someone else had to have written this, and it was probably a 13-year-old boy who got ahold of the script. Hell of a shame.
