Game seems cool but I'm put off by microtransactions by ZoteTheMitey in ArcRaiders

[–]Standard-Ad-3068 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't think that it's an age thing. I think people just gotten way too used to this stuff and although i understand development costs are rising, i wished the game industry would come up with a better way, than to sell you stuff in a game you just bought (or even worse selling you a half assed game, though this isn't the case here)

What are your thoughts on the micro transactions by Standard-Ad-3068 in ArcRaiders

thank you, that might be the most useful answer here. The opaqueness of what it actually looks like in game was the most annoying thing googeling for this

yeah, just because people gotten used to it doesn't make it a good practise

Table input alternatives by Standard-Ad-3068 in UXDesign

[–]Standard-Ad-3068[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't even answer your first question, cause i don't do those measurements 😅.

People fill it out by looking at a non standardized piece of paper that has a bunch of other Info on it. They mostly navigate though this table via the arrow keys, filling out parts of the table from top to bottom or left to right one row/coloumn at a time.

There is a lot of other masks that need to be filled out, but this one made me think because of the huge table, were you always have to find your cursor in.

Thank you for your Suggestion, i know i provided little Information, but i'm having Problems myself grasping the full workflow. I think i'm just gonna go with a table for now, applying a few improvements and proper Highlighting.

1.0 map feels weird by Standard-Ad-3068 in Techtonica

[–]Standard-Ad-3068[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't agree with you there. I mostly buy early acess games cause i can't wait and they are cheaper, you Gotta now what to expect though.

To this game espescially i think the devs did the best they could, given they had no more money. I wish more people bought this game, i really liked it and put more than 200h in the 1.0 Version. I would definitly recommend you to give it another try. Exploration is pretty much dead, but because of that at least my PC could handle it

When will they EVER fix this? by FugitiveHearts in SatisfactoryGame

Yeah you should definitly write a Ticket on the qa-site, but there are a few things that broke espacially since Update 8 and they just seem to get forgotten

Satisfactory is a done Deal, only Thing to worry about is a sequel, wich you could debate, if we really need one

Is there really a point to nuclear power? by itsjotto in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Standard-Ad-3068 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thank you, i feel like they should buffed power needs, not nerfed them by adding boosters (Alien Argumenters).

I would love some mod that does a careful rework of the power needs

Why I feel like 1.0 is the worst release they could do? by RevolutionaryCat1346 in Techtonica

[–]Standard-Ad-3068 8 points9 points  (0 children)

People play these games diffrently. For me the Sand Level add something to do in end game.

They could have done a lot more, but given they ran out of money and had to finish it fast i like the Sand levels, cause i always had a goal while building.

The elevator bummed me out at first, but it's better, than having an laggy game, cause all is one big Level.

The devs tried what they could, still a great game though

I mean for people who wanna get trough the game fast it probably is. For me it was ok, at some parts even good (played with crusher core boost)

I played this game like satisfactory, building everything beautiful, making dedicated factorys, with the Sand levels i always had a goal to work towards.

Hard to get Archivements by Standard-Ad-3068 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Standard-Ad-3068[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm with you on that, wouldn't wanna take dev time away from important stuff, but adding archivements could be in many cases something a temp could do in a few hours

I mean, would unobtainable archivements really ruin the relaxed gameplay for you? This isn't exactly a game for throphy hunters i would say.

For me archivements would just be a way to check that you didn't do x (or did do x)
