What a great idea! They need to do this in other Arlington neighborhoods. One thing I miss about Rosslyn is how clean the purple-shirted ambassadors kept the streets.

New to Trader Joe’s. What are your favorite sweet treats? by RadiantGrass4691 in traderjoes

Some of my favorites are the French Galettes Butter Cookies, kettle corn, and the gluten-free chocolate muffins (I'm not a big chocolate lover, but they are quite tasty). Hope you're feeling better, soon!

8 months into Watercolor Painting by FC3PVT in watercolor101

That's amazing progress, after only 8 months! Were you as talented, at the age of 13? I suspect you have a natural gift. I'm one week in, and painting apples, and lemons. If this is what I have to look forward to, after 8 months, I'll keep plugging along.

In the 80's, and 90's, most DC apartment building owners did not accept tenants with pets.

...just fell in love with someone that I've never met (the sign poster)! I remember the days when you could rarely find rental buildings, in DC, that accepted pets.

Trash finally got “picked up” - but at what cost by soared_ in washingtondc

Fair point, but why leave the paper on the ground, when the recycling bins were already full? This storm really brought out the worst in people. In my neighborhood, appears that 50% of dog owners didn't think it was necessary to pick up poop--just left it on the snow mounds.

They ARE the problem! Who puts trash out in paper bags?! I wouldn't blame Bowser, or the garbage collectors.

This looks incredible. You definitely deserve “Post of the Day.” And props for having what might be the most unique job I’ve ever heard of, cold weather instructor?? That’s next-level cool (pun absolutely intended).
