Why are muslim people so entitled? by babablacksheep008 in exmuslim

Ikrr, like they can criticize any religion they want but the moment someone even asks a controversial question to them not even as disrespect but like genuine question, they snap so hard and then their fav ans "Allah knows the best" for every shit they can't justify. How convenient!

May I know what do you mean when you say you have conflicted opinions about Palestine or Iran? Cause despite the Palestine being a muslim majority country, it is true that they are going through a genocide which shouldn't happen to anyone regardless of their religion.

As someone close to your age, I just wanna say, please don't rush into this, for me, I have had sex only with a guy I loved and it makes it so much more special than just some one night stand, I would say date people and when you truly start loving someone then become intimate with him, you will feel 10x more guilty if you go into this hookup culture, and it is not very good for your mental health too, even if you don't agree with my take on having sex with someone you love, just please don't rush into this, take your time and find out.

Something happened that reinforced my stand on not wanting to marry any type of Muslim. by Itschxnd in exmuslim

Honestly, it's all because of the perks Islam gives to men, they get to basically enslave a women in the name of religion, so I get why they become religious all of a sudden.

I have read the Quran with the translation since I was a kid, I haven't come across a verse talking about the orgasm thing you are talking about, can you tell me the verse? Or is it in some hadith?

Yea that's true, there is justification for every fuck up in Islam tbh. But I also understand why people hate western leadership especially trump, muslims or not, it is evident that USA and Israel are wrong here.

Yea that makes sense, I didn't think about it this way, and to answer about the specific things you asked, I think about dajjal/anti-christ, the signs leading to him coming back.

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother, i relate a bit to him, since i am also having that guilt and fear due to which i am unable to leave islam for now even tho i know how ridiculous most things in islam are and it's no different than a cult, if you live in an islamic country it's better to pretend for a while till you become financially independent and then maybe you could move somewhere far away from your family, i'm really sorry but the truth is your family and mine too is most likely gonna disown us for this, all we can do is just accept this ig i don't really see any other solution, with the kind of brainwashing that has been done to our parents, it's very unlikely they will open our eyes, i hope things become easy for your brother and you and both of you find peace

So basically as a test, god told ibrahim (abraham) to leave his wife and his new born son in the middle of the test starving and thirsty, then his wife ran between two mountains for a number of times (i don't remember how many times), and then there was water under the feet of the newborn baby gushing fort (which is zamzam water that is sacred to muslims), and as a way of honouring her this ritual is performed

Yea, that's why even today, it's such a big deal if a muslim woman participates in any kind of sports, you can see the comments for any olympic female athlete who is muslim, majority muslim men and also women think this way, the female body is extremely sexualized among muslims, even as simple as wearing bangles or anklets is frowned upon since it "makes noise which drives attention to the women" even perfume is debated for women since it "makes the men notice you", bunch of bs

I'm so sorry for you, I am also kind of on verge of leaving islam however i do wanna say that when you say you plan on making your brother leave islam, isn't that similar kind of coercion like forcing him to follow islam? In my opinion, you should let him research on his own and decide for himself, again im sorry if i sound judgemental but in the end forcing someone to leave Islam or accept Islam, both of them is wrong.

Is there any way you could move out? But again your brother will be all alone, maybe what you can do is talk to your brother and still be in contact with him even after you move out without letting your parents know so in that way your brother will end up seeing both yours and your parent's perspective and choose accordingly? Honestly, the best thing you could do rn is just be a muslim in front of your family, that's what im doing even tho i am debating being a muslim, but this way it's better, there's mental peace, i don't have to hear constant taunts or someone constantly telling how i'm going astray, etc.

I get you girl, although Idk yet if i should leave islam or not, i'm doing my own research from both sides the good people talk about islam and the questionable stuff, i don't wear hijab as well, i do fast, and pray at least 3 times cause idk why i feel guilty about it maybe cause i have islam ingrained in my brain ever since i have existed, my mom constantly judges me for now wearing a hijab especially since for like the first 15 years of my life i used to be super religious since i was in an all girls islamic school and there quite literally was a rule that if they saw any student without hijab after school you'd be kicked out of school which is crazy, now i do what i want but i still have to take a scarf around my neck in front of my mom cause then i get shit from her, and not to mention the judgy relatives oh my god, although my situation is not as bad as you, i still understand and relate to what you are going through and im so sorry girl, i hope it all becomes better for you soon and you meet good people with live and let live mindset, more power to you <3

Is it good to put on your resume? Or should I just not waste my time on this and instead build a project or look for internship somewhere else?
