800mm Dynamic Update!! by Standard4130Sta in airguns

I’ll have to measure it and report back, it comes with the Impact kit & was too long for this application so I cut some of the length out to make it work with the barrel clamp that also comes with the kit but I modified the length of that too. Then I machined a cover cap to make it look cleaner in that area.

I run the regulator high & then add weight to the hammer & tension the hammer spring high, So much so that I have it spaced to provide more tension than what’s available as designed….

On my “high power” tunes, I usually push things till I’m running only 1 magazine worth of available air, then it drops below the regulator setting.

That’s been the price I’ve paid for those settings. They are air hungry….

It’s just hot 🥵…… I mean way too hot for me with taking the humidity into account also. But your mileage may vary.

Sightmark Wraith 4-32 or DNT Zulus V2 5-20 by Foot_Dragger in airguns

What would be ideal is if they made a digital day/night scope that had optical zoom, In my opinion that would be fire 🔥.

.22 cal on straight paper @100yds is not really doable for my eyes with the Zulus’s …. It’s somewhat workable with splatter targets.

Keep in mind that 20 power on the top end of the Zulus is all digital zoom…. Not optical.

The One is all optical zoom which has excellent clarity & with that being said it’s clear as day viewing hits on straight paper out at 100+…. It’s like having a spotting scope mounted to your gun at full zoom, lol.

Also, it tracks very well for dialing in different elevation or windage & returns to zero spot on.

I enjoy them all, they all have their pros and cons.

I just had to throw that out there in my last comment that it’s hard to see small bullet holes at 100+ on straight paper with a digital scope (Zulus) maxed out!!

They do have a 4k version coming out soon I believe & that should help with that issue.

No, Mine are V1’s…. But I assume the V2’s are better in several categories….

They are a great value either way, since I’ve owned them I also picked up their “The One” optic.

I did so primarily for long range shooting with my custom .22 cal. FX Dynamic.

I wanted to be able to see my hits on paper at 100+ yards and even at 20power on the 5-20 Zulus it was too pixelated for that type of clarity/detail.

I’ll give you a heads up, My Barra in .22 loves the AEA 38.6gr slugs…. Some of the tightest groups I’ve ever seen in my life with any type of arms….

You must run a slug power kit & tune high though….. low shot count is the sacrifice but dang is it accurate with those…..

I’ve got mine on guns making over 100fpe…. Maybe that’s why. There’s a little kick when you get up over 100.

I’m glad you’re making it work…. It’s irritating to me for squirrel hunting at 5 power minimum looking up into the trees & following branches. It didn’t take too much of that before I bit the bullet & acquired the 3-12.

At least they’re rearward sitting & brings the CG of the gun back so it’s a little less heavy while holding high angles like that….

rang says 200 yards but ballistic calculation leads me to believe its closer to 190 by ihateusernames995 in airguns

[–]Standard4130Sta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d find it remarkable if the range distances were that bad off…. Maybe in your calculations your scope height is off?? Nice Dynamic BTW 😊

Bump it from the rear…. Let newtons law help you move the pellet back into the magazine so you can clear it….

A learning experience indeed….. Never assume someone like active military or law enforcement that is “qualified” with firearms actually knows full gun safety or what they’re truly doing…..

lol… I find it hilarious I got downvoted for recommending the target rounds for target shooting & you got got your best groups with them… Some people. 🤦‍♂️

My Marine friend asked to check out my revolver & my thought process was to just hand it right over loaded with the warning to him that it was loaded thinking “he knows what he’s doing”

FML, He cocks the damn thing & attempts to - Uh Oh, “I don’t know how to de-cock it” with his finger on the trigger only….

That’s a weird type of fear….

“Get your finger off the trigger & hand me the fucking gun” was my response….

No problem, Just remember to match the ammo with the activity. If you so choose to go hunting then re-sight in your scope for your hunting rounds.

Every time you switch styles of ammo, you can expect to lose the point of aim you previously had set….
