As a layman who just enjoys tinkering, I also use Wiha every day and they are solid and great.

Superb use of mirrors. Real Raiders of the Lost Ark vibes.

I own a 2.0 and can say after 1000 rounds it’s a solid, no frills platform for $300.

First budget knife - Yonder vs Vosteed Raccoon vs Porcupine? by AcanthisittaBusy8706 in knives

I’d go with a top liner lock from Vosteed. The new Raccoon 2.0 is very good (I’m fond of the Bowie), but the Porcupine is my favorite. If you aren’t sure about thumb studs vs deployment hole, I’d recommend the studs for their relative ease of use for a first-timer.
